So wanted to root the phone because I wanted to run a diagnostic on the battery. When I went to put the code in from the touch pad it gave me some error that turned out to be a Verizon block, which ticks me off that owning my phone doesn't mean I I'm entitled to use my phone to it's full capability. So I looked it up and the only solution was to root it. Well that wasn't helpful, because now it's a soft brick (gotta love those oxymorons). I came to discover there are two menu's I assume one is Verizon and the other Android. which is which beats me, but one has 4 options and the other has 8-9. The larger one has options like wipe cache, bootloader, update from SD, ect. well they both have wipe/factory reset which is what I was looking for anyways and when I try it I get this: starts with the blue screen and android that says "erasing, then it goes to the No Command screen then it goes back to the big Menu I get this Fail to open recovery_cause (No such file or directory) #Reboot Recovery Cause is [UNKNOWN] No support Single-sku File-Based OTA Supported Api: 3 should-wipe-data --Wiping Data-- Formatting/data... Formatting/cache Data wipe complete. Formatting /Cache... Successfully verified dmverity hash tree. So I've tried using Odin to flash it several time with several different firmwares, obviously with the proper firmware but different site in case one was missing something. I've tried using just the AP and AP with all the boxes filled, BL, AP, CSC...ect nothing works. the best I've gotten is after Odin does it's thing I get that the flash was successful and it starts to reboot and then gets stuck and bootloops. So I go and try a factory reset again and bamm, back to fail to recover...ect ect. would love some insight and a fresh look, I'm stumped. S7 G930V.

mera bhi same problem hai but mera twrp hi install nhi ho rha hai... twrp flash ke bad jab bhi recovery mode me jane ki koshish krta hun tb wapas se download mode pe pahunch ja rha hai phone to sahi chal rha hai. new phone hai abhi samsung j7prime2 but twrp flash nhi ho rha hai.. aur recouvery mode me ohi error aata hai command not found and then menu pe jake "fail to open recovery cause (no such file or directory)" error bolta hai.

still bootloop here in j7 pro bro. i flash stock rom succesfully ,then flash twrp successfully then flashed the zip file . but still booting repeatedly
