Not at all. I love Charlotte, heel or face, but she does her best work as a heel.

They think because Ric is so fondly remembered that people's admiration for him makes the Flair name a face, not realizing that he's remembered and respected because of the fact he was one of the best heels of all time. Even in his final year with WWE, he was more of a face but he got his loudest pops when he'd go back to the heel antics.

Ppl also seem to forget that Charlotte is one of the best NA wrestler they've never witness. They judge her for the booking and forget how many amazing match she offered. She just bury every other women in WWE by every standard but ppl hate on successfull ppl thinking she doesn't deverse to be that incredible. Her heel character did a good job and a lot of ppl are unable to like her bc of what they think she is. I think she's a better heel than face, but it doesn't mean she's a "bad" face. It's kind like MJF in AEW, he's incredible as a Heel but he is also good as a face, not as good as a heel but still better than 95% of other wrestler. Same with Charlotte. I hate the character she's impersonnating, but goddam, she's the best wrestler NA will ever have...

Also the fact that she would just insert herself into title matches never felt like she should have been a Babyface

The thing is that Roman was forced as a face, they needed to build him up first and they failed to do that and for that reason he was booed, if WWE had handle Roman better from early 2015 and had him fight his was to the top so they crown can get behind him.

@@Chepchenko he can’t connect to the crowd on emotional level without a stable. The dude flat out doesn’t have what it takes to succeed as a heel or a face. He always needs a group of people carrying him whether it was Seth and dean in the shield or Jey, Paul heyman, and Sami zayn, in the bloodline.

@@terminator_405 Nah bro, he was being pushed at a time when the crowd wanted him to be a heel or atleast a tweaner like how Ambrose was, anyways the crowd turned on him in 2015 with the way the Rumble finished since Kane and Big Show was eliminating all fan favorites and then to have Roman win it at the end just killed the vybe of the match, the universe was soo mad at it that even the Rock got booed, if they had booked it right and had maybe Wyatt, Rusev, Bryan, Ambrose or Cesaro win it would have been good, following night have Lesnar with Heyman cut a promo on the match at the Rumble on Raw, have maybe Kane and Show with J&J security try to take out Lesnar then Rollins try to cash in, Roman comes out and try to help then have Lesnar F5 Roman, then thr next night on Smackdown have Roman do a promo saying that he wants to deal with Lesnar before the winner of the Rumble gets their shot at Mania, have Lesnar show up on the following Raw and they set up a match at Elimination Chamber and have Roman work up to be a fan favorite, I believe that approach would be good to have the crowd behind Reigns.

He may be a better heel, but I do feel like he can sometimes be a face, or maybe even an anti-face.

He's not really doing a heel program, he's still the same Miz he was before but now he's going up against heels, and we like him because he insults the heels in a clever way

Even if not he will go down as one of the greatest heels of this era and go into the hall of fame

I think Miz’s problem is that he doesn’t look like a legit competitor so unless he’s going to win by heel tactics it doesn’t make sense for him to go over on top guys.

Rocky was just a terrible character with a green performer in the ring! Roman was a terrible character with good in ring talent! Kinda disappointing that his leukemia going to remission was the only thing that fans could cheer for during his babyface run.

Oh, and I almost forgot about Andrade's 2016 run in NXT. When he turned heel and got Zelina Vega as a valet, everything changed.

It's funny because today, in, 2024, both Lesnar and Orton seem like they would be fun to hang out with. (I just watched Randy's wife prank him on his birthday [which is April Fools Day] with a positive pregnancy test, and he just seems like he'd be awesome to spend a day with.) That said, for the majority of their careers? I mean, do you REMEMBER Orton in 2009? Heels through and through.

I don't know. It seems he was making more money than ever in Merch and there was still buzz around his Jay White and Samoa Joe matches. I wouldn't call it a failure on par with Randy's post-evolution face run.

The problem with MJF was partly down to Adam Cole being injured. It was amazing seeing him try to be a baby face and rely on Adam to show him, but once Adam went and he was full baby face it fell a bit flat

Maybe they could have had a Heyman-esque manager character to be her mouthpiece. At least then, she could have focused on winning matches matches and fighting lasses.

I think they were trying to make her the super cena, bianca belair like gimmick. Imo this sort of gimmick doesn't work unless you're appealing only to a childish fanbase like kids or middle east. I've noticed most western fans quickly get tired of the "stronk babyface" gimmick but they connect with more underdog/grounded gimmicks (Cody, Daniel Bryan, LA knight) . Ronda was also devoid of charisma that didn't help either

This is true however his recent collaboration with Riddle forming RKO bro was easily his best babyface turn. What could have been a disaster in theory turned out to be a successful run. Their chemistry was sufficiently effective in making the gimmick work. It had the ideal blend of riddle’s gregarious, oddball attitude and Orton’s more supercilious & austere personality. Orton has played the heel many times in his career and now he fits the babyface role more easily due to legacy and age.

What made this infinitely worse is that they didn't even give us any time to cheer for her as a talent. No matches, just week after week of video packages designed to invoke sympathy.

Look I know how you and many fans fell but it’s just hard to separate the art from the man itself. He’s was a great in ring performer but what he did will continue to ruin and overshadow his legacy. He will still be known as a murderer and that won’t change sadly. If you and the fans feel it’s still wrong for WWE to erase him because of a huge fan you are of his in ring work then I don’t blame you.

Shayna has more then put in the work for her character, and killed it NxT and her early run on the main roster. The unfortunate part is that Vince didn't like her, so he killed her push despite Becky wanting Shayna to beat her for the title. And sadly, even tho Vince is gone, H hasn't even really bothered to change want Vince did.

@@camerondalton1495 I hope not, I feel she's got a lot more to go if WWe would stop farting around. They should have pushed her after beating Ronda, but I'm hoping teaming her with Stark will. Yeah there were other women with a badass gimmick, but given her MMA background, her work in the Indies, run on the Mae Young Classic and her dominant run on NxT, she has shown to be more legit then those before her. Plus add in the 4horse women, her love for games and magic card tricks she brings to the ring (mainly the games) she stands out more so then the others. Even more so then Ronda, which was WWe's fault cause instead of building her up like they did with Brock and Shayna, they threw her into the main events and titles runs.

Which, unfortunately, is the only notable promo as a babyface. The rest...not so much.
