Neat work Mohammad! I remember those moments so vividly... I appreciate the fact that you incorporated different aircraft's communication as well. It makes it easier to puzzle all of these variables together. Not all of the ATC communications reporters are willing to put in the extra work here on RU-vid. Good on you! I look forward to your future reports, Anthony S
The scratching was so audible too, i wonder what the passengers thought also why they rushing to ask during a go around and not immediately checking for debris
So everyone seems oblivious to the fact they just dragged their tail along the ground? No runway inspection? Those Air France guys struggled with English. I really do hope 2024 won’t see any “very” serious incidents, we already had a taste of what miscommunication leads to in Tokyo..
Quite the year it's been, I worry for what may happen in the future. Englsh barriers have been quite the issue, Back in August 2005, on this exact Runway 24L at Toronto Airport, an Air France A340 overran into a pit. Everyone survived, extreme miracle.
I don't like it when ATC rushes to ask me the reason for the go-around while you're hyper focused to fly your plane during the go-around.... It annoys me when they ask that in a hurry
Air France never actually informed that they were going around, the Local Controller had just so happened to be monitoring the South Side in those seconds and saw the aircraft climb out, and gave vectors and altituide. Normally they ask way earlier onward about the reason, I don't see an issue with this. My opinion btw, I also do respect yours.
