(I didnt think my comment would have that many like! First time for me lolol! Keep being who you are ! ) I just want to say that, i'm 20 years old and autistic. I still love kids things. Knowing that you are a mom and you have dolls make me really feel more normal. I'm always scared that people make fun of me. But when i watch your videos, i feel so much better because you make us feel like its normal ! ( sorry for my bad english, im french !)

Using hot water from the start is probably the best idea. Micro braids are even a struggle for us real, non plastic black girls haha. You don’t wanna brush it too harshly, because they’re easier to brush out ( in my experience ) than regular braids and you can accidentally unravel those tiny ends.

The braided hair is fantastic, I wish we'd had dolls like this when I was a kid. All I ever saw were dolls that looked like me (with the occasional token black doll, who of course had silky straight hair), and I didn't realise or think about the fact that what I saw in the toy aisle wasn't what I saw when I looked around on the street.

I don’t know if anyone else commented it, but the hair elastic may be really large so the child who owns the doll can tie up their own hair too and match their hairstyle with the doll. 😊

I referenced street smarts to my parents once and they didn't understand, so I forced them to listen to the bit lmao

The only thing I would change about these dolls is the names. I feel like people would love the characters more if they had human names like the Rainbow High dolls. Or even 'people' names that are a play on words like MH and EAH. Dance Styles sounds like the name of a club not a girl XDD

She is the most beautiful one in the doll line! I was so so about the dolls until I saw her, she is a must have!!

These are really cool for a doll to have articulation ,insect eyes and detailed fashions at that size should have know they were designed by Garrett Sanders.

The doll is really cute! I’m a little confused as to why she came with a wide toothed brush when she has micro braids instead of a comb? I think it might be wise to use soap and warm water rather than brush her hair for anyone who buys her :> Also, on Disney+ Supposedly the proud family is coming back and the series is called “The proud family: louder & prouder” and i’m hyped for it! I just hope penny wont be treated like dirt by her friend group like in the original series or if she is, she speaks up early on about how they treat her and she has the courage to put and end to it. i also hope it starts where it left off and continuity is present lol :>

God, I hadn't seen this doll and I absolutely adore her. Unfortunately, here in Mexico, that doll is not available on amazon, I live in a small town where there's no Walmart but I asked my sister, she lives in Mexico city and any of those dolls are there either :( That one is the most beautiful one out of all of them! By the way, I'm a 34 year old mom and I still love dolls so, age is not an obstacle to enjoy playing with dolls :)

I'm glad I'm just a doll collector and don't have to worry about buying toys for kids. I remember as a kid wanting barbies and baby dolls. Kids today have so many more dolls to choose from. My Christmas this year will be new glasses though as I can't afford the luxuries this year.

The articulation of these is amazing. The package is ridiculous. Take your patience pills. These are great. The "ugly" face is a different mold for each so no short cut there and very expressive, very comical. Comes with a stand but ive never seen a doll look so natural sitting other than a Blythe. Its reall good and their knees are better done than Rainbow High. And an added feature i didnt realize at first; THEIR EYES FOLLOW YOU. Ive Never had a doll give me the side eye before. Ha! 18 bucks at walmart. Well worth it. Have a happy day.

My mom did the swap out trick with a friend of hers one year I thought she had gotten me a pink video now player (it’s a mini portable DVD player from before phones were smart) I think she switched it because I found it because when I opened it I had the purple and my friend had the pink

Here is the nearly 55 year old woman from Maine again (boy don't I understand the issues you have!)! I cringed at the thought of combing those tiny braids, but apparently it works. I have Swag, the LOL OMG doll, who also has fine braids in her blond hair, but I would never brush it, as the bottoms of her braids aren't fastened with anything and would fray, but I love how Swag's hair sways back and forth, just like this doll. Makes me want to purchase her, although I don't know if I particularly like this line. Thank you for all your wonderful reviews and since I share your sense of humor I'm going to have to watch that comedian! It will be a Depends evening!

Super cool fun FailFix doll review 😍💗 love these dolls, I finally got a few of them, the unboxing struggle is so true with these dolls, it took me a bit to get them out of the box, was wondering how her hair would go with brushing with the braids, giving her a wash works well, she is a beautiful doll and love the inset eyes any make-up, was also wondering if there was a way to tell which outfits they come with, those hair ties are huge and they can be vicious on your knuckles lol 😂 you did an awesome job with her hair 😍💖

Oh there are different outfits. My 6 year old daughter caught that and I didn’t know what she was talking about 😂. These are $18.84 in store at Walmart but $19.94 online for Walmart. Yes omg the boxes I struggled it was the worst like way harder than Rainbow High or other dolls. I’m hoping to get my daughter the super surprise remix omg with tots Bhaddie, Fierce, Metal Babe & Goo Goo Queen for her birthday remix is saying they’ll be a preorder 9/15 hopefully it releases before my daughter turns 7 on 10/15 🤞. Yes I’m only 37 sneezing is dangerous but I have a bladder condition 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I totally know what you mean about laughing too 😭🤗. I heard these do have a couple different body types. I remember the balls hitting my fingers in those hair ties. I’m a child of the 80s.

You mentioning those old hair ties with the balls dredged up a memory that I had suppressed for YEARS. I actually FELT those horrible things hitting the first joint of my index fingers like it just happened . . . Also, were my mom and grandmother the ONLY ones who didn't know the ball just went through the loop to put them in and that you WEREN'T supposed to use them like a normal hair elastic? Because my mom and grandmother tried to put them in my hair like a normal hair elastic. We had to CUT THEM OUT IF MY HAIR. Edit: What about naming her Dani or Danielle? (Playing off of the name "Dance Stylez.) I think she could be a Danielle.

Whenever I purchase my new dolls and their hair is full of all that gel I just get so hot water and dip their hair a few time then rinse then i use my water and fabric softener spray to soften and comb through the hair and let them air dry. I had a do this with my Rainbow High girls.

I do kinda feel like her outfits are a bit more plain compared to the other Fail Fix girls, but I love her hair after it got washed out! And her cute little face too!
