I may be in the minority, but my favorite tailrace moments are of Alex yelling NO KITTEN while trying to drive.

Considering you like offroad racing, you should play ATV Offroad Fury 4 on the PS2. A good amount of freedom in how you get to the finish line.

Oh boy oh boy. This is the third time I will be pestering you Alex in the hopes that you will give need for speed Hot pursuit 2 on the ps2 a shot. Btw, if you returned to streaming it would be an ideal game to play. The championship and challenges actually get pretty difficult after a while from what I remember. I'd highly recommend you try the game!

This actually looks rather good, especially endurance races! I'd love to see a cockpit camera and slightly better physics though. It is not the aero which "steers" a car in the air, it's the (conservation of) angular momentum.

Graphics wise this game has one craving for more but have to say they truly nailed the physics down in this game. Its so much fun to play with the driving and so on.

This looks pretty good. But for me my all time favourite off road game was Motorstorm Pacific Rift. So many good memories!

Me and my friend used to play this game in local multiplayer for hours when it came out. Great memories, every time i walk into a game store i ask if they have it, they never do.

Ah yes. I remember this game from the 360. I was going to do a playthrough a few times but got too deep into it because it's a very interesting game

The clutch is actually very important game mechanic in this game. You should always tap a bit of the clutch when launching, coming out of a corner or climbing a hill, it gives you a noticeable speed boost. Another thing is that you can jump further from the jumps by preloading the suspension by pulling down the left stick and then flicking it up at the edge of a jump.

I remember I put some serious hours into this game back in the day.

I actually loved playing this game when it came out on the 360. Went through every class and everything. Also.....INTRODUCE THE KITTEN.

The fact that you can change the car's pitch on the air by accelerating and branking as more to do with inertia and torque on the wheels than the air rushing over them

A new game like needs to happen it would be so sick. Game developers could do so much more like longer races better graphics and physics etc and even real trophy trucks and Baja trucks.

If you want to play an old off road sim that was VERY good for its time, you should really try SODA off road racing. I had that game and played it to death. It was so good. The physics were very very good for its time.

Amara is trying to replace Alex!! Side note, Amara is a great name for a cat; really pretty!

I'll I remember from this game is endless hours trying to beat the open class race for the trophy trucks never could do it. Love to see you try it Alex or do the actual Baja race but that might be asking for too much.

Does anyone remember playing Cabela's 4x4 Off Road Adveture (the first one)? I played it on PC and it was interesting (but my very young mind meant I didn't get to enjoy it fully).

Air control. Yes quite a bit. Both sideways and up/down. Really good for doing insane long and high jumps or to jump as short as possible for speed. AI is "weird": They will drive real fast the first lap(s) and slow down toward end of race. Baja races will take you from 1.5 hours to ~3 hours (Real time). So yeah :D

The in air control on rc cars with up down tilt is from the electric motors instant torque try holding just the motor and have it go full throttle you can feel it twist

Yes!! I love this game. So much pure fun :D And the racing is pretty challenging after a while. Only thing i dont like is the inverted right stick. SO annoying! About upgrading. Dont do engine first. Unless you want *really* fast AI to compete with :P And SPAM that clutch.!!

I have a Traxxas summit and the mass of the tires is so high that if I hit the breaks in mid air it can do a full flip

Looks like a upgraded version of insane 1 (love that old shitty game where u can race where ever u want and rip off the wheels of your car pretty realistic cause woth 3 wheels it drove like shit)

The automatic is terrible in this game. To actually race fast you have to play with a manual. I don’t remember having trouble finding the option to drive manual. I found this game over the summer.
