FAILURE ON THE TREK DOMANE SO ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE 

I started watching your videos as I was interested in getting a Trek Road Bike. After I have kept following your videos and I just really like hearing your thoughts while you are on your rides and the more I watch the more I get inspired! I have signed up for the London to Brighton this year and it will be my longest ride to date. I have done a 50km in my mountian bike so far but now that I own my own Trek Domane Road Bike, I look forward to putting in the effort and increasing the distance! Good luck on your 200KM Ride! Nice bike. Interesting that you're thinking of going electronic. I went the other way on my Fairlight Secan, keeping in real with steel, and installed mechanical GRX 1X and ditched the hydraulic brakes for Paul Components' Klamper mechanical brakes. I decided that simpler fix on the road was where I wanted to be. Anyway, might see you on Salisbury Plain. 👍

I absolutely love that you’re bringing attention to the Boone. I’m sore today from riding mountain bike trails on my Boone, with my son since he just bought a new mountain bike. Good times but I need to stick to gravel.😂

Ben, makes me happy to see that you finally found the right bike for you! You do a lot of gravel so the Boone makes total sense. I do zero gravel on my Domane SL 7 Gen 4 but I do an average of 300 miles a week on pavement road and my Domane is perfect for that :)

Electronic shifting for a one by group set is a bit overrated. At least with GRX because mechanical shifts so well. I have no experience with SRAM mechanical shifting.

I have a Checkpoint that I have been running a Mullet, Force AXS shifters\crank w\Power and X01 RD and 10-52 cassette, but I also have a Rival XPLR RD, 10-44 Cassette, and flattop chain, so based on my specific riding needs, it takes me all of 10 mins to swap the RD, Chain, and Cassette and I am ready to roll. I seriously looked at the Boone frame before I went with the CheckPoint, but I was not a fan of the BB Drop on the Boone, but glad it is working for you.

Ben I have been getting some back pain on my domane but it’s mostly when staying seated on climbs putting down power having a bike fit next week to try and sort it

I just got done a 61 mile with 4800ft of elevation. Single hardest event I have done.

It can’t Be a 53 frame set, Trek only make 52, 54 or 56, not 53

Be careful on gravel descents and off camber turns, Cross bikes are terrible in those gravel conditions. The short wheel base is sketch! Ride more

What camera do you film on when riding Ben?

CX bikes are superior gravel race bikes. I just got a crockett and its just a last gen emonda alr with bigger tire clearance

you are 5.9 and riding a 53 frame and complain about issues with your back / shoulders... Your bike frame should be at least 56!
