Hi, I am Melissa, the Insurance Exam Queen. I’m the most requested Exam Prep Instructor in the U.S. and have helped thousands of people pass their Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance exam with ease.
With a long string of ONLY 5 star reviews, I've become known for my casual and simple teaching style, and my students love the fun memorization techniques, charts, graphs and other visual aides I use to help you understand the material.
Most of my students pass their 1st or next time after going through one of my Class Series Packages. I simplify everything, tell you what to study, and even include everything from Study Notes to my own personal Practice Test to help you focus ONLY on what you need to know in order to pass the test.

If you love ALL the fun details and back story...keep reading.
In my years of working for companies like United Healthcare and Hagerty where I was the most requested instructor, I determined the quickest way to pass the state licensing insurance exam.
My method is to focus on the most tested topics for all four state licensing exams (Property & Casualty, and Life & Health) and knowing and understanding the most tested topics instead of memorizing practice exam questions. (Tip: You should not be doing quizzes or practice exams very much and if you are- STOP. The questions in your course will not be the same questions on your exam.)
Knowing and understanding the material will serve you far better than multiple hours doing practice questions, which is why my class series packages (see link below) have seriously become a GAME CHANGER for securing that pass!
I get numerous messages each day from delighted students who passed their test after watching my videos and taking my courses that explain how to pass the Property & Casualty and Life & Health state insurance exams in the simplest of terms.
I would love to help you secure your pass!

When do you think we need to ask the insurance company why our premium go up? I know it goes up yearly due to us being older, etc., but if it’s double from last year like from $80 to $160, should we question it? Thank you!

Also what’s one characteristic of insurance, the choices were unilateral, universal, the other two I can’t remembered.
@insuranceexamqueen
@insuranceexamqueen Год назад
Insurance policies are unilateral, a one-sided promise. The insurance companies promise to pay our claim if we have a valid loss. Additionally, unilateral also means only one side is legally bound to anything and that is the insurer.

I'm working on my SC Life and Health insurance producer license. However, I have a question... my local car insurance agent (with a Large well known company) is changing the monthly rates... Every Month. Rumor is coming up here in small town America that it is happening to others as well. In fact, a couple other local agents (with different companies) have also heard this to be happening. How or who do I report that to? As I would think that's bordering into the world of being legal or not. P.S. Great videos! Thank you
@insuranceexamqueen
@insuranceexamqueen Год назад
Once you buy a policy, the rates are not supposed to change. But if you were to quote in January, you might get a different quote in February sure.

Hello! I am Melissa, the Insurance Exam Queen. Read this message to know what’s important for your state exam, what you should focus on as you study, how you should study, and how I can help you secure a passing score on your exam! I have helped thousands of people pass their insurance licensing exam. Companies from United Healthcare to Hagerty have requested that I be their instructor for all their new hires in order to secure a pass as quickly as possible. During my years of working for them, and securing high pass rates, I was able to determine the quickest and fastest way to pass the exam. My method is to focus on the most tested topics, and knowing and understanding the most tested topics instead of memorizing practice exam questions. You should NOT be doing quizzes or practice exams very much and if you are- STOP. The questions in your course will not be the same questions on your exam. Knowing and understanding the material will serve you far better than multiple hours doing practice questions which is why my class series recordings make such a difference and why I have over 140 5-Star Reviews on my Google Business Page. My teaching style is very casual, I keep things simple, I use memorization techniques, and I create a lot of charts and graphs as visuals to help you understand the material. Below, I have written up what is most important for your state exam, and where you should spend your time during your studies. The easiest and most tested chapters are General Insurance, Life Basics, Life Provisions, Term vs Whole, Annuities, Health Basics, Health Provisions, Disability Insurance, Medical Plans and State Law and I cover all of them in my Royal Treatment Class Series. General Insurance is the foundational chapter and when you know it well, it helps with all the other chapters. Most states will range in how much this chapter is tested typically being around 5% to 10%, but since it’s the foundation for all else, you want to be decent in knowing these terms, especially anything related to contract law. With the life and health exam, there are separate chapters that make up the content when you look at the exam breakdown. What I like to do since I know and understand the information within all of the chapters, is to focus on the content that is the same between life and health. This way you get to double dip on your learning, and not be overwhelmed with all the things you have to know. So first, we focus on the things that overlap. Life Basics and Health Basics overlap as well as Life Provisions and Health Provisions. Both of these chapters almost look identical between life and health, but the life provisions chapter will also include Settlement Options for Life Insurance and Non Forfeiture Options. Life Basics is also known as completing the app and health Basics also known as field underwriting and both chapters are all about the application process an agent goes through when selling a policy as well as the basics of life/health insurance. While you will learn in your studies all about the various life policies, they love to test you on Term Vs Whole and the differences between them more than other life policies. Annuities which are actually the opposite of life insurance requires mostly knowing all the definitions, Annuitant, Annuitization, Accumulation, etc. Next up are provisions. While there are different provisions in life and different provisions in health, many of them will overlap. Provisions are things that kind of set the rules for how policies work and a good amount of them are simply definitions, and many do require memorization of numbers. Provisions also tends to be one of the largest chapters on all state exams, sometimes even up to 25% or more of the exam is just on provisions. For health, they really like you to know the difference between HMO and PPO, as well as a good understanding of disability insurance. Lastly, you want to be really decent in state law. Most state exams will have this chapter at around 20% or more of the exam. While every state is different and has different numbers, you need to know which numbers are important, and which things you should memorize from this chapter. I teach that information in my insurance regulations classes which are included in all my Royal Treatment Class Series. Right now, I have three options for the Royal Treatment Life and Health and both come with 100 Day Access. The Sliver Life and Health Series will cover a simple review of the most tested topics across all states. The Gold Life and Health Series will cover an in depth review of the most tested topics across all states. Personal Platinum is Gold + Silver + the ability to talk to me daily as you study in Group Tutoring Telegram Group, it’s like having me on speed dial! Additionally, as part of Platinum you get to attend all classes I host for Life and Health for free during your 100 days access. Plus you’ll have access to previous Boot Camp recordings that are not available anywhere else. Could be a new fine, but then you need to see when your exam was updated to match that new fine. I would stick with 2500 since most exams take forever to update

I’ve noticed some companies ask if the customer has had any bankruptcies in the past 15 years or at any point but if they can’t use anything past 7-10 years on a report to determine the rate then what is the point of underwriters asking this question? To determine if they want to take on the risk at all?
@insuranceexamqueen
@insuranceexamqueen 5 месяцев назад
Hey, so when it comes to money habits, if someone's gone bankrupt before, it kinda shows a trend that insurance companies are curious about. I mean, even if that happened a while back, it's like a heads-up that there might be money troubles down the road. Insurance folks always want to know the odds of someone missing their payments, or ditching their policy, or making claims because they're strapped for cash.
