I’ve been using the Lancôme primer and mascara duo for years! It’s my favorite! You definitely don’t want the primer to dry down. My understanding is the primer conditions the lashes and adds volume (some contain fibers and I forget if this one does) which helps boost the mascara when applied. They dry down together into this lovely fluffy lash. I use the duo only on my upper lashes then once all dried, I use a tubing mascara on top to seal it in and then use the tubing mascara on my lower lashes. I’m currently loving the tubing mascara from Finding Ferdinand and they also have a “black” lip balm that is witchy - it is more of a blackberry color. Edit to add: I just got the text a bit ago about that concealer launch. I love their Creature of Light paired with the serum foundation. Thanks for giving us a first impressions!

I’ve been using the lash primer more and loving it. The funny thing is, I do the EXACT same mascara routine as you, right down to the tubing mascara to finish the upper lash and to do the lower lashes 😂

I love a mascara primer-- I let them just set a tad, not dry down fully. Interesting bunch of new goodies! You made a great look out of it all.

I love the Lancôme mascara primer for my thin short lashes with any mascara. It makes a tremendous difference. I usually run a lash comb after applying before the mascara on top then comb again. It’s miraculous. It also is great under colored mascara to make them pop especially if you have darker lashes. Have you tried burgundy or purple mascara? They will look great on you. I love the L’Oréal ones hence they are the same company as Lancôme They have a primer as well which is just as good. I love the Fenty lippies too. I need to pick up RiRi. It looks beautiful on you.

I’ve been loving the lash primer since getting a hang of it and I’ll be sure to try these tips, especially the coloured mascara! I have a couple from How to be a Redhead and I feel like the primer would really give them oomph

i used the lancôme lash primer all throughout my teens because my mom would give me the freebies from her purchases! i found that it can add both volume and length depending on how you apply it, and it works best when you coat over it in the stage between wet and dry! almost tacky, maybe

It’s really tempting to buy a few things from RDF, especially “creature of light”. I love their colour choices and packaging, the concealers you choose are just my perfect shades, but one thing that worries me is their formula. Where I like the scent I’m worried about the waxy consistency, this is the thing happened to my lipstick I had from them. It became very uncomfortable to wear and I would rather not throw away cosmetics that are on more pricey side.

I can definitely say the creature of light is not waxy at all! It’s super light. I know what you mean in terms of the lipstick. You can feel it on your lips so it’s not for everyone

How does the RDF concealer compare to their foundation formula? 🥰

I can’t say because the foundation has a nut oil in it and I’m allergic! Based on what I know about it though, the concealer seems much thicker, better for getting that extra coverage
