In this lesson we go over how to combine fair value gaps FVG with liquidity inducement.
liquidity inducement is the process the market engineers traps for retail traders in the market by trying to force the traders hand prior to aproaching you POI point of interest, so what you will learn today is how to use the market maker trap to your advantage to validate your FVG.

I was already into inducement trading and I use shelves as you call them. What really was an eye opener was combination of the shelf overlapping the IB. Powerful stuff. I never noticed it. Thank you for sharing. I will be checking out more of your videos to see what I can learn. Gained a subscriber.

I'm hoping to retire next year at 55. My goal this year is to be more serious and consistent with my investments I've been investing since I was 22. 2024 is going to be more serous for me investing consistently for the long term. starting to save for a house down payment. Hey there, I have been trading for about a few nonths now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points. I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me. I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

The issue is most people have the "I want to do it" myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt, no offense. In general, invt-advisors are ideal reps for investing jobs, and at firsthand encounter, since Jan,2020, amidst covid outbreak, my portfolio has yielded nearly 300%, summing up to 7-figure as of today.) %

Thanks brother ETM🙏🏾❤..so price should not react at FVG then heads to shelf as you have explained it today and last week so my question is even if the reaction from fvg is small enough does it mean our set up is invalidated or it needs to be a big reaction from extreme discount to even above 50% premium incase of buy orders the way you explained it in pd arrays?

Preferably you want your first interaction to be with the overlap. It gives you a slight edge comparing it to a reaction at the gap then proceeding to the shelf. Its around 8% advantage if I recall

Hi I have 2 small questions - 1. which TF should i use to see FVG formation and (then go to lower TF to plan entry) and enter it when price retraces back into it.... one time frame shows that shelf has not been used, but on smaller time frame it is already used

What if the buying pressure is so hard from taking liqudity that you also got taken out. (for example 5:56) How will you know that the markt doesen't go any further? I mean you could look in to lower timeframes for conformation but then you will miss massive profit from that high volume
