its wild how that other one went viral, and i was like i know this from somewhere... from when i first heard it ...and I'm always telling people this one sound so much better and crisp... notes were perfect... no one heard this version, and it was first. Don't get me wrong Will did his thing on the newer one, so similar...but this one hit different!!!
bro he became the instrument, Ive tried listening to other versions of this and I always find myself coming back to this video because no one has played that solo with the amount of soul, and possesion as this kid... I'd love to know who he is...
I guarantee every musician that's watched this has gotten teary eyed, there's a feeling you get when you're shouting all your emotion into your instrument whether it be percussion wind or string instrument. It's so hard to explain what that feeling is but Its like your body can't stop smiling and feel your bad start to move on its own, it's honestly addicting
If you ever played any kind of horn in a band you know what it takes HE LOST HIS SELF HE WASN'T THERE HE WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE IN HIS MIND AND HEART.....HE COULDN'T GET BACK TO THAT PLACE TO DO THAT AGAIN HE WOULD COME CLOSE BUT IT WANT BE LIKE THAT 💯 (HIS SOUL PLAYED THAT NOT HIM)
My son's first band recital is tonight... he's playing trombone because of this clip from this young man..we watch this every time we get a chance for motivation to where he can take his talent.❤️
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tARTNMDUDnE.html skip to the last time the blue shirted band plays, same band and song, its just alot better visually.
He's is from The House of Prayer in Winnsboro S.C.. They have kids there younger then him with the same skills. That's what is amazing!!!!!! They are really working with those kids there!!!!!
johnnie kinsey-hamilton when I first heard this I didn’t even wanna cry... I got a lump in my throat and just let them fall... he was singing through the trombone
You can teach people to play the music, there’s multiple vids of bands across the nation doing the same piece. But the ability to feel the music can’t be taught. That was the point t I was trying to get across.
I discovered this masterpiece about 8 months ago and have since downloaded it. I still listen to it on here daily to make sure that the listens counts. I've watched it nearly 600 times and it's a religious experience every single time. Talent like this can't be made!
He's playing at Benedict college the entire trumbone line is there they played this song the video is here on youtube oct 2019 I will find it it's about 17mins long they dont play this song until 14:35mins into the video
man i was watching this while on the toilet taking a deuce, a very sacred thing for me, and a soon as i heard that lick @1:03 i stood up from the toilet like if i was there, this kid made me teleport from my toilet to that gym...i cant make this up
The devil went down to Fairfield he was lookin for a soul to steal til he battled willial bilal and lost every soul hed stolen IN A SINGLE BATTLE AGAINST MAN TURNED ANGEL ON THE TROMBONE im following this kids career he definitely has earned a fan for life!!!!
This moment was special for sure, and a lot of you are right he was possessed by his instrument. I’ve heard him try to recreate this sound several times in other videos he does great but not like how he did here...
When I say I played this till my phone went dead I just did....this is truly crazy to me and I’m so late on hearing it he really just blessed my ears!!!
man I swear I have never heard anything like this from a lower brass instrument. this LITERALLY brought tears to my eyes. just looking at how he swayed as he played you can tell he is not from this generation dude.
Its been done and not o e single college band has come close... Even professional white dudes in France took a halfway decent approach but STILL didn't compare
I'm not a horn player in no fashion but i got a feeling that he had a outer body experience. I am convinced the soloist was on vibranium. While the horn was playing, he was having a meeting with the creator of the trombone and the song composer, at which point, they uttered these words, "you are ready".
I seen this for the first time yesterday on Facebook. I swear this moment changed my life. I use to be considered an great trombonist in my time and retired lmao but damn he got me looking for my horn. This is the best Trombone fanfare ever! In a way this inspired me to come out of retirement lmao!
Sometimes you just hear someone playing the hell outta an instrument, making it sing and cry and shout... and you just get goosebumps. Bro, I hope your going places with your playing.
Amazing... This young man has a gift(way beyond talent). The band jumping around with the Holy Ghost when this man play. Young man you should be able to play your way into ANY HBCU, hell ANY UNIVERSITY with a sound like that. make me want to throw my trombone in the dumpster😂😂😂
brickhouse96 DO FEEL HIM-AH. DO YOU FEEL THE HOLY GHOST-AH. THE LORD SAID-AH, THAT YOU-AH, SHALL GO ON-AH. PLAY THAT INSTRUMENT-AH. GOD IS GOOD-AH, HE MAKES YOU POWEFUL-AH. MAY GOD-AH, BLESS YO SOUL-AH. CAN I GET A AMEN-AH
He attend Benedict College in Columbia he preform this same piece at homecoming this past Saturday look up MC trombones vs BC it was recorded by bandtube it’s towards the end of the video
Just imagine those who actually witnessed this in physical form and those who actually played with him remembering this golden moment for the rest of their lives!
Two days ago my daughter let me hear this, haven’t stop listening to it yet, truck driver 8 to 12 hrs a day I just hit the repeat button.to see a group of kids energetic about music, as you can see by the comments and likes, people love it, to the soloist you are touched by the hand of GOD when you play. Remember that feeling as you grow, your passion will grow as you do. I will be looking for you in the future. I think GABRIEL should learn how to play the trombone.
Nah. They all felt that. Coming from someone who was in a band, you really feel that live music, and there's no way anyone in that room couldn't feel this🔥
I've been in marching band for over 15 years, and now I'm directing a marching band and I must say this brought tears to my eyes on a spiritual level. I know this kid played out of his soul to another universe and its truly amazing.
I always come back to this video. I just sit there being quietly inspired by the bands soulful performance. It is raw performances like this that I connect with emotionally.
Shit, who still listening to this in 2020??!! Shorty set the bar high asf with this one.... Haven't heard a college band play it like them yet, plus, when you get white dudes in France trying to emulate these shorties here, you know you set the standard.....
I wanna know who the 13 people are who gave this a thumbs down. They had to be deaf. He played that like it was the last song he was ever gonna play 🔥🔥🔥
I know that horn. That’s the Benedict guy. That’s gotta be him in high school. Cause NOBODY I ever heard can put the soul and vibration in this. This has got to be William Bilal Just looked it up. He is from my home state of South Carolina. And he went to Fairfield. This has to be him
Diego Cortez it's a different tone used, some call it blaring. Used alot in HBCU bands. I was playing like this church before I even knew what it was called.
This guy was born and raised in the UHOP and at a young age boys dream of becoming members of our church bands. We start early, like 6 or 7 playing around learning by ear then the older members actually start teaching us as we play on the Junior band. The UHOP has a totally different sound. Brother William is the truth no doubt about it. When I first saw this, I knew he was a UHOP kid bc of the mannerisms, style, and movements he has. Looks just like a UHOP band leader. Its amazing bc you can go to a UHOP and hear trombone players in middle school rip apart seasoned trombone players like they were beginners. You would be surprised at how many great musicians come out of those bands. Look up Buff Dillard
