Good job! This definitely addressed several head scratching questions I had about bridge design and roadway layout in the area. It's good to know that these were intentional and not the result of abandoned projects.
Thanks for this! As an urban planner and Cordelia native (now living out of the area), this was a super informative look at some of the major infrastructure improvements affecting the area. Keep up the good work!
A fine video in an instructive series - cheers! Also on a less cordial note, the 80-680 mess would've been solved decades ago over a long weekend in countries like the Netherlands.
Also really great video! I love the break down of the exhibits. I actually drafted most of these exhibits early in my career as a civil. I didn't design the interchange, but rather my task was to colorize and phase the interchange exhibits for clarity, however this video really dives deep in!
Great video! Nice presentation and breakdown of a really complex project. If for whatever reason we experience an oil shortage in the next decade or two (highly likely), we’re going to collectively kick ourselves for not prioritizing commuter rail to Solano County.

Thanks for letting us know! We have updated the description with a new link: drive.google.com/file/d/1_2OPUSwPwUskU4KXNVO9RYuENwgq_yMR/view?usp=drivesdk.
Great question! Presumably, drivers on I-80EB headed towards I-680 would have to exit at Red Top Road and then enter I-680 at the new onramp until a new connector is constructed in Package 7. At 8:54, Janet Adams from the STA explains that this is part of the last package due to "low volume." We highly recommend contacting the Solano Transportation Authority (STA) if you have further thoughts or questions!
Until the construction of Package 5, it is our understanding that nothing is changing, so most likely one would still need to enter SR-12 from the I-80 onramp at Green Valley Road. If Package 5 gets built, one can take Red Top Road from Cordelia and enter SR-12 from new onramps that would be built.
Apologies for that! Audio mixing has been a challenge in all our videos, but we'll be sure to keep it down in the future! We work hard to make our videos as accessible as possible, and most of our videos, including this one, have captions. Hopefully those help for the time being!
