The master of Nabula is a Ghost that create Nirvana. He stay as ghost to protect Nirvana from evil peoples and when he meet Wendy he create illusion Family, village and guild for her.
Spoilers: The irony he's talking about is probably the fact that the Cait Shelter Guild Master created Nirvana around the same time period Wendy was born, then Wendy traveled in time 400 years to the future while he stayed almost stagnant in time for those same 400 years before his life changed completely when he met Wendy. So you could make a parallel and say that time stopped and came back to both of them together in a way.
That part where Erza comes and just places her hand on Wendy's shoulder just brings waterfall. I love how Erza is the only one who sympathize with Wendy cuz she knows that pain more than anyone, Fairy queen with the biggest heart.One of many reasons Erza is my favourite character
It's not just only Erza who sympathize with Wendy. All of them do. The only difference is that, she was the only one who took the courage to comfort her because she knew how it feels to lose someone you really loved.
Lots of things to unwrap about this episode. If you remember, Jellal was the one who inspired Erza to become a fighter. In a way, he is the reason she is the person she is today, and I feel like him giving her her last name symbolizes this perfectly. Erza wouldn't be Erza Scarlet without Jellal. I also see it as something that represents their eternal bond. No matter what, Jellal will always be a part of Erza. On top of everything, on the manga chapter it was revealed that Jellal gave Erza her last name, Erza appeared in a wedding dress on the cover. 👀
Jellall saying it was the color of your hair to Ezra before he got arrested was him telling her that he remembered everything … he said it back to her when they were little that’s why he gave her the name erza scarlet
It's just weird that Ichiya's VA says about the magic of "bond of friendship". Then when that same VA voiced Aizen, he be like "Friendship is weakness"
This episode never fails to make me cry. What the old man did was incredible. Doing it all for her even tho he had to spend all this magic 24/7/365. Mindblowing. And then Wendy just has to see everyone she grew up with and loved disappear. Poor bby. Thank god that Fairy Tail is always there to save the day :)
We're lucky we didn't get a backstory on wendy and the guild cait shelter ,her having a nice time with everyone and so on... Or else... My room would've been flooded with tears

I love how Fax would sometimes pause (on most important part) just to make sure he understands the details. While, Neel instantly switches mood to feel/fit the emotion of the scene. U know I originally thought Caitshelter was gonna die by Nirvana and then Wendy would join Fairytail. When that didn’t happen I wasn’t sure what would happen to her character. Glad she joined but I never would’ve imagined this, it’s still super sad
Can you imagine how powerful that old guy was to make nirvana then create an entire fake village and keep it up for YEARS after being dead? Thats an insane amount of magic power
I love the cut to each of the members of Fairy Tail after Wendy loses the master. Lucy left her family estate, Gray lost Ur, Igneel vanishes, Lisanna dying, and Jellal was just arrested. All of the members of Fairy Tail dealt with loss and they immediately understand Wendy.
the 10 wizard saint are the 10 strongest mage in all the world, the magic council is the "judge" of the magic world. Jellal was in the magic council but he was also a member of the 10 wizard saint. The master of Fairy Tale is also one of the 10 wizard saint, like the master of PhantomLord who kidnapped Lucy

Random fun fact: Fernandes is actually a name with spanish origins its common in countries that speak both Spanish and Portuguese. I’ve seen Fairy Tail before and somehow don’t remember his name being Jellal Fernandes. As someone who’s Portuguese I think I would remember that but nope… I was so confused when he said it
Fairy Tail was my first anime, it was the one that dragged me into the anime world. It was so special to me. But the hate it received online and the bad mouthing I heard from my irl friends slowly made me think the same. Recently I'd been feeling nostalgic and decided to rewatch it. And I want to say thank you. Because of you and everyone in the comment section I've started to realise that people really hate on it for no reason. I'm glad I decided to give it a shot again. And its great to be able to watch this with people who appreciate it. I'm glad to have my love for the show back.
This entire episode hits all the emotional beats, and I don't use this word very often, PERFECTLY. We have seen that Erza and Jellal share a special friendship.She finally found her friend wandering through the right path but gets stopped by the council, the fact she burst into tears at losing a close friend destroyed me. To make matters worse, everyone Wendy knows has been an illusion this entire time, except the master who was a ghost. Both lost everything from their past that was very important to them.
While the illusion seems very complicated it is still heartbreaking to think that every friend Wendy made growing up till she met the others weren’t real and they disappeared before her eyes
Jellal (Siegrain) was the only one who was both a Wizard Saint and a member of the council. You two might have confused it because of him or maybe because of the line when they explained that the council is the one who grants the Wizard Saint title.

I know y'all already made a reaction video of all OPs compiled, but it's different now that you guys know the characters. Guy's how could you have forgotten? Jelall gave Erza her last name, He found her hair to be a beautiful scarlet color and Erza didn't have a last name so he gave her the last name of scarlet also yes the magic council and 10 wizard saints are 2 different things but you can be both of them, the council manages the law within the magic world while the 1o saints are just the 10 most powerful wizards of the continent
I am not gone to lie, I put the name of this episode with "Special" on it title. Somestimes when I got deprestion, I rewatch anime with Special on it title name. Just to make me happier.
I can't help but feel that one or both of them have already seen Fairy Tail. Their predictions are a bit TOO good, and now he goes and says that he wants more development on Mystogan of all people *right before the Edolas arc*??
Bro English dubbed version of this anime the dialogue has more impact with the emotion and really adds to the series. Watch the dubbed version I hope this don’t get too much hate but some anime are better with dubs and other with subbed, this is one of them which is better with dub
