this is probably my favorite rendition of this song ... the camera angle, the flute guy, the way you can pay attention to any person and see a whole story unfold, the way the girls are trying to sing louder than the boys. absolutely beautiful, perfection. hits especially hard now that shane has passed. in retrospect, it's the perfect tribute to him -- just a bunch of people having a good time in a pub, exactly how he would have wanted people to experience his music. RIP

But you know, I'm from the USA, how am I to know such detail not ever being in that part of the world? Especially when so many people here (not Italian) ask for chicken/veal/eggplant parm (parmigiana) but no one uses that cheese, restaurants/pizza parlors use mozzarella. Parmigiana is expensive. Few people know that. I do know a koala isn't a bear. But pub...yes, now I will know forever. I don't want to correct it because then readers won't know what people like you are referring to. And rightfully so.
My mother is Irish her family come from bushe mills now all in Belfast I still get blown away when I’m a Irish pub nothing but love and music, plus my favourite band of all time , god bless you crazy Irish x

I am English myself but I have all my cousins in Ireland and a day after my Granny's funeral. I went into one of the locals and it was like 3 or 4 guys just sat in the corner doing this. Playing their instruments and it was just great to see. You don't get it in England.

I'm English but currently living in the USA, if you're in a bar in Illinois they'll be more likely to sing some Foreigner/Boston/Bin Jovi bollox, they have zero taste around these parts, nice people, but starved of culture🤮God Bless the Irish ☘️🇮🇪❤️
