One thing about Ireland is that it seems to rain all the time and if its not raining in Galway then it is about to to. All you contributors that come from such wonderful places, where does your love of Ireland come from?
Dear Irish people: Never ever let your heritage, your language, your music, and your traditions die out. It is an amazing culture and the world needs it.
This music is literally the definition of salt of the earth. It feels rustic, urgent and alive. It gets under your skin and nourishes your soul. It's joyous.
How could someone not love a nation that has battled so long against a seemingly unsurpassable foe for so long. Over 800 years. As an American I admire the irish patriotism you all have. I cant wait for you folks to have the last few counties back which are rightfully yours anyhow.
Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there were establishments, called pubs. In these pubs, songs were sang, friendships were forged, memories were made....
@@Lordmuhkuh23 may I ask, what exactly is going on Ireland. I look it up but there is just so much going on. Could you perhaps highlight what’s going on
@@omaimaazoui4143 I was just talking about Covid and the closure of many places. Can't speak for Ireland, I live in Germany, but we have British and Irish pubs here as well. I love these places and I fear for many to not make it through the lockdown and their forced closure.
I'm Puerto Rican born and raised in New York. My first international trip was to Ireland. I love the traditional music, i love the beauty of the Land but it's people is so so beautiful to me. I don't know how to express it. I live on a tight budget and i can't wait to go back. I WILL GO BACK.
We have a shared history through our struggle against imperialism, the founder of the Puerto Rican nationalist party, Pedro Albizu Campos was asked by his friend Eamon de Valera to be a consultant in the drafting of the constitution of the Irish free state, Puerto Ricans also helped organize and raise money to help the independence movement.

Just wanna help with the English. I am sitting here drinking beer in Ukraine watching this video, imagining that I'm in an Irish pub. I love Ireland and Irish music. Just wanna help brotha
@@РоманНазаров-о9ь no, that use case is only for UK, USA, EU and such since they're abbreviations which then becomes "in the United Kingdom", "in the United States of America" etc. The only valid critique for OP's post would be him using "drink" instead of "drinking", but fuck man-- the guy is drinking beer. Cut him some slack on verb valency.
sitting in the floor, drinking coffe, rainy day in Argentina ,im watching irish men playing beautiful music in an irish pub, someday I'll be one of them

My everyday life is based on Irish folk traditions and im from northen Greece...My heart and soul sticks to the irish..Ill open someday my own irish pub in Salonica where i live
I'm an Irish-American this is the music I grew up listening to in my grandmother's house. I love my heritage and have kept it alive any way I can amd the music is the best way to do it
Finally visited my family’s hometown in Ireland. Cleaned my family grave. Walked the town and retraced my grandpas steps. I tell you that Ireland is the the light. Go there experience a pub. Ireland is the place to visit for anybody. But please go to the country side not just Dublin. I have after visiting Ireland a never ending pride and love for my peoples country
Same. I'm 13 as I'm writing this and was born and raised in the countryside of Ohio even to this day, but absolutely *HATE* modern country music. Bluegrass is alright, but country music now is absolute garbage. I prefer to listen to what my parents and grandparents (especially my dad) would normally listen to. Things like Pink Floyd (especially their early stuff with Syd Barrett), Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, you get the idea.
That's beautiful brother. I'm from NYC and all my grandparents were Irish. Love going over I feel a deep connection to the land, people and culture in my soul. Beautiful to have that connection to more than one place on Earth

Greetings from Croatia. I have best rememberings with only some Irish people. Never been in your country. In our Croatian War of Independance, in our unit there were 3 good Irish comrades. Good catholic fighters, unforgetable.
My father was born in Ballydavid, on the Dingle Peninsula. He left in 1925 to sail to America for a new life and never returned. I've always felt sad about this because I never asked him why he didn't return before he passed. I visited his village in 2005 and felt his spirit there. It was a truly magical place. 💚☘️
I know Ballydavid well and it's a beautiful place and I'm glad that you felt a connection with your Dad and as someone who lived abroad for 25 years I came home simply because at the time everything lined up to make it possible for us to move and we had almost given up on the possibility of moving back, love from Ireland 🇮🇪
My dad left Scotland in 1960, I have a lot of similar feelings about things I never asked. His grandfather was Irish and our whole family on that side is extremely Irish. Never got to figure many things out. But very grateful for my dad. He played this music, took my to Celtic games… great culture. Now I continue it here in Canada
I've been into the Irish folk music and culture since I was 14... It's magical, I can't express how much I love and appreciate it. Hope to be born Irish in my next life. 🍀

The Irish remind me so much of my own culture (polynesian) though we are worlds apart certain aspects of the Irish culture resonate strongly with my own. Beautiful!

Ireland has an elvish language, gaelic, that sounds like a LOTR elf is having a pint in a tavern. Most welcoming country I've ever been to. These folks radiate warmth and medieval legends. Long live Éireann
It's actually called irish, only people outside ireland would ever call it Gaelic, funnily enough the word for Irish in irish is "gaeilge" which can be confusing for some because it's a bit similar to what people think it is. Irish or gaeilge.
"Oh dear, is this an archive of some ancient civilisation ? I can see people drinking, huging each other and playing music in real time, not on screen. So intriguing granddad !"
Small country, great nation. Ireland is my favourite like many. Kind people, rich culture, wonderful sense of humour. Lots of love from Saudi Arabia. ☘️✌🏼
I'm a Mexican American and I feel like the Irish are the Mexicans of Europe. We both love drinking, dancing, singing & general merriment. Still, I much prefer Irish folk music better than my own culture's. I find it to be happier & more family friendly.
Italians like me love Ireland too. Two nations with hot blood, and passion for the music. Celts went in the ancient Italy, long time ago, maybe this bond is intact even now.
I can't wait to visit Ireland... to look upon the green rolling hills and the beautiful coasts and to be proud to have Irish blood in me. Strong people, brave people, amazing culture and history. Éire go Brách!!!
I'm from Argentina but irish culture is on me for my past life. With a Lot of esford i Made my dream realty and i wastraveling accross Ireland ..the beautiful Eire..the smerald of the world. The best country on this planet and i was dancing on a bar pub like that. So kind people and not drunky like brithish and american most of elite want to say ..no no. They keep celtic ancestral wisdom for you to do not forget whats really important in life : simplicity joy sharing love sounds lights and moverments. Irish folk is from divinity of mother earth . Thanks for keep the key in this "modernals times
I'm playing this video in memory of my late grandfather who died a long time ago. And today on St. Patrick's Day is his birthday and he was also Irish. Happy Birthday, Pop-Pop.
Unfortunately with mass Muslim and African immigration in the British isles and Europe the Celtic culture is going to die unless drastic action is taken.
Listening to this, makes me miss Ireland so much! I was so lucky because I was here, at Dolan's pub, three and half years ago, sitting at the bar while listening to the live Irish music with goosebumps and tears in my eyes. I realised that I fall in love with this land. Bless from China.
Finding myself listening to this wonderful music remembering my wonderful father in law who passed away 1 year ago today. He was from Limerick and found his way to the UK after many years of struggles, I thank him for that as I met such an amazing, warm and loving person who I could not imagine not meeting. We miss you every day. Listening to his favourite traditional music has made my tears flow but a smile is all he would show and your heart would melt. Miss you so much Will. xxx
Oh god I love this music .. I was so fortunate to witness live Irish music that too in Scotland . I danced like mad .. I love Irish music .. I hope I can visit Ireland soon .. love from India
FROM ITALIA, I TOTALLY RESPECT THE IRISH FOLK MUSIC THE CELTIC MUSIC, I JUST CAN'T EXPRESS WHAT MY FEELINGS RN THIS IS SO PURE AND AMAZING!!! 🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
The Irish sound, the culture, absolutely lovely. This American is eager to come and explore. Never, ever let your heritage and culture dwindle. Thank you, Ireland.
My great grandfather emigrated from Limerick during An Gorta Mor in 1850. My grandmother was raised in Ireland (County Roscommon) and emigrated to U.S. in 1920.
Maybe I have at least one drop of Irish blood in my veins, cause every time i listen to this my heart becomes happy. Want to come to Ireland one day. Magical country and culture
I’m fully Irish and it’s an honour to see people from different countries enjoying our traditional music. These trad sessions will forever be apart of Irish culture. ❤️ 🍀☘️🍀
Im fully born and bred in london.married into irish culture. Made my first ever trip to ireland last week. Specifically galway. Went into taffes to hear the music. Fell in love and really did feel home. I wanna go back and never leave ❤
Warms the heart and feeds the soul. This is just one the many reasons I'm proud of Ireland. Go anywhere in the world and you'll find us and an Irish pub. 7 million of us live here but 70 million call it home.
I've visited Ireland several times. Such a beautiful country, beautiful music, lovely language, and the best people anywhere! I've experienced music in pubs similar to this, and nothing compares with hearing it in such a setting. Could I retire anywhere in the world, it would be in Ireland.
this is how I got to be one of the most friendliest positive RU-vid comment feeds I've ever seen.. no trolls know stupidity no nothing. *and the love of the culture and the music commented on from around the world is extremely heartwarming and so cool to see*
As an American, with all Irish grandparents immigrants, this also makes me proud. My grandmother on my father’s side played the fiddle magnificently until her late 70’s and arthritis took over. God bless her and Erin go bragh.
@Susan Moran No Brittany is but the modern French people are descended from the franks, a germanic tribe that migrated into what is now france and not the celtic gauls that previously lived there.
I am Argentinian and we have our own folkl and Irish music really fascinates and enchants me. I discovered this music when I was a teenager and I try to teach my daughter about this culture that I decided sent her to an Irish school in Buenos Aires and there they celebrate their traditions . good bless ireland :-)
@@AngloHuscarl Same here, but I am an American of mainly English descent with a little Irish and Scottish. This music always gets me tapping my feet. The English and Irish are fairly similar as well.
Such a great craic. l visited this magnificent green isle in 2004 and memories still strongly linger on with sad and beatuful nostalgia. lreland has always had and will always have a special place in my heart. People, land, music, history...Erin gra mo chroi, miss you a lot. Much love from Slovenia.
Ripper TV I have never been to Ireland sadly. My great great great grandparents are from Dublin and pretty much all over republic of Ireland. With Wales, Scotland and Brittany scattered here and there. I want to visit the ancestral homelands one day!
The French and the Irish didn't see eye to eye during the 2005 WM. A Company called National Pen had French order takers and Irish production staff. When the French came with the French Flag mocking the Irish...a fight broke out and they had to call the Guarda. The Irish take their sports very seriously and the term, Fighting Irish was not applied by accident....;-)
Im Yugoslavian, living in Sweden, and i loooove irish traditional music so much!! it reminds me of my homelands traditional music!! We have alot in comon with irish people, we also love to drink and dance
Music from all parts of former Yugoslavia (I have been there when It was Yugoslavia) is astonishing, I am a Bretón musician, I have no words to describe my admiration for the différent musics of your country!
I'm a Hispanic American and yet the Irish are my people; they love beer, they're loud and blunt, and they just love gathering around a couple of pints O'Guinness, some good music, and having a good time. Love music like this.
Every time I am watching this, I wished the Netherlands had such an amazing culture as well. We have a lot, but you Irish have a soul. Keep it that way ;)
Ik ben fransman (Bretón)en heb in de jaren 80 in Overijsel gewond. Weinig te verwachten wat betreft musiek, maar wel schitterend volk op het platte Land!
