I was invited to this concert, they had came on this exact tour and lineup metallica, gnr and fnm, i was 10 or 11 years old. My mom didnt let me go. What I would give to go back and see that concert. Still haven't seen any of them live. But all three bands performed much better then. golden moment missed
The REAL THING...... ,, and what you ARE is SOMETHING ELSE. " This is his REAL THING To be something else than we see..... ............ Mike is a WOMAN he was born a girl and admitted it in his ,, Brasilian Interview " . ........................ ALL celebrities are Transgender FRAUDS ... ... Check out -- ,, Transgender celebrities they always tell you. " You have this Video on my PLAYLIST
@@catarinegould9780 He was born a man and is a man, there is no transgender about him, if he said it in an interview he was trolling which is what he does.
People were not ready for a song like this in the 90's, i doubt they are ready even now. This is just something else... I hope history does not forget this song.
This song has always shaken me to my core... Reminds me of times when I was more lost and felt hopeless. Looking back on then while listening to this song gives me such a rush... Those verses with the constant synth in the background, conveying a sense of wonder and curiosity/suspense. Hands down, one of my favorite songs. Just hits me so hard, harder than anything else. Every time I listen to this I just stare off and think about what I have done in life and what I miss. Love this :)
Yeah, when music chills you and shakes you to the core you know your on the right track. I feel bad for people that don't get musical chills but i guess they just don't get The Real Thing?
This song is so great. I feel falling into a black hole during those 8 minutes. Particularly the production and recording of that album creates a pretty deep and dense atmosphere, for example the sound of the drums and Mike's voice.
I love this, and I also love how much Mike’s technique improved over the years. This album was my gateway into the wonderful world of Patton, and I’ll be a fan forever.
FNM has been my very favourite band for several years now. They are the perfect combination between exceptional skills and the ability to feel "The real thing". We are really lucky to have them around.
En 1991 participan en el Festival de Viña del Mar en Chile , siendo una de las actuaciones más recordadas por sus adeptos y ser una de los shows más novedosos para el estilo del certamen.
best lyrics ever. long song with extremely positive metaphorical lyrics in it. it's my FNM favourite song and i never get tired of listening to it. you can use this song to explain your deeper love for something, not only abstract things
i was born in 91 but i still want 2 go back to d 90's.....i wanna cherish dat moment.....but i would have regretted as there would be no youtube or myspace
Faith No More had the most perfect lineup back in the day. Pattons astonishing vocal range, Billys insane bass lines, Jim's perfect guitar riffs, Roddy's beautiful keyboarding, and Bordin's grizzly drumming!!! This song captures every essence of what that band was and forever will be! (i'm leery of the new guitarist live but it still sounds amazing...just hard to accept that it's not Jim)
Hell yeah the late 70s all of the 80s all of the 90s and beyond, I got everything out of every decade good and bad and more. Life was awesome for those of us who actually remember when people did and said whatever, whereever, drugs were open, music was stylish, toys were cool, rules were still lowered, and everyone didnt tell you how to rraise your children so we did more
in those years, Mexican rancheras chile only listened jjaja but now are dying for this group, and are the number one fans and I am a very good record of the concert
I really wish I was a teenager in the early nineties. hands down, the best decade. Music, Movies, Television...was all in it's prime and at its best. Luckily I had an older cousin who was a teenager that was able to show me this kind of stuff as a young kid. I remember the Black Hole Sun music video would give me nightmares as a kid haha.
yeah, this album, and the first mr bungle album, both in 1990, and then FNM goes to make Angel Dust and Warner Bros. didn't like it, they said it was "Too artsy" and patton goes, "What?" and they say, "We're not in the art business, we're in the sales business" Turns out ANGEL DUST was the most infulencial rock/metal album for bands who straight up stole their stuff, Korn, Inbubus, Slipnot, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, all the rap-core, the sceam-o, all from those three albums
Rarely but every now and then a masterpiece slips those corporate fucks. I never heard anything like Angel Dust music, before or after it was released.
Mer De Noms I think music today still reflects on 10 or 11 albums from the past... SEX PISTOLS 'nevermind the bullocks" NAPALM DEATH's "scum" "GUNS N ROSES" 'Appetite" FAITH NO MORE's "The real thing" and "Angel Dust' MR BUNGLES "self titled" PANTERA's "Vulgar Display of Power" DEFTONE's "Around the fur" DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN's "Calculating Infinity" and LAMB OF GOD's "New American Gospel" -- THOSE ARE TEN ALBUMS THAT ARE BEING COPIED AND WERE VERY INFLENTIAL AND SOME OF THE BANDS I DON"T LIKE WHAT THEY TURNED INTO, BUT WHAT WAS
@xxMisterJxx I´m 45 and I lived fully the 90´s alternative atmosphere in Vancouver (Seattle´s twin city) and I feel fortunate everyday for having lived this incredible movement, the fashion, the freedom to make all this amazing music, the MENTALITY, the values, anyway, nothing to do with anything going on now.
Adoro essa música. Ela me inspira. Me dá vontade de ter uma banda. E a voz dele me encanta. Nossa, ele canta muito. Apavora. E essa voz continua até hoje. Ninguém canta como ele canta.
