I stumbled upon some fake seeds while browsing some Facebook plant groups. I was curious about them and it lead me down a deep dark rabbit hole of fake and bootleg seeds. Some so ridiculous you gotta watch to see.

On at least one of the "milk melon" pages it does show the real thing. It's the oval orange fruit, and it has a really nice smell. I get them at the local farmers' market.

LOL I just found the milk melon seeds on ebay and was like "there is no way that is not a real effing nipple photoshopped onto some gourds" so I googled it to make sure it was fake and came across your video

I saw these also. There's also many eBay sellers that don't send products. I'd when you ask for refund they will play games with you till u will naturally give up just because it only cost $1-$3. Considering all the time u put into retrieving that money all adds up just to collecting that $1-$3 spent returned- feeling disappointed & extremely discouraging, only lead u onto hopelessness &given up all those continuously email back & forth to seller and then continuous email back & forth to eBay also. I guess if u Dnt give up & chased back every penny, those scammers will have to return almost every penny sent to buy for those seeds.

Apparently Vietnamese Milk Melons are a real thing but look nothing like the picture. Instead they are a small green fruit with yellow pulpy flesh. Saw it on a youtube video of a couple who went to visit the wife's parents in Vietnam.

For some reason that's the only objectionable part. It's crazy, right? It's common and acceptable for women to show all kinds of cleavage, but if your nipple is exposed because you are feeding a baby, people are disgusted. I suppose without the nipple, it's just flesh.

ebay recomended me seeds for the milk melon... I googled to see if its real. I just bought a bunch of herb seeds for hydroponics... most exotic ones are Greek Basil and Russian Tarragon...

I've spent over $50 in seeds from China because I was misled by colorful pictures and amazing descriptions and the affordable price looked like a steal.... I have rainbow maples, red and blue redwoods trees, white spruce and even dwarf wisteria 😂😂😂 i had to wait a full month to regret my purchases haha, and then realize each plant had different requirements. From cold stratification to scarification to to multiple types of stratification etc.... also, a majority of the seeds are mislabeled or are not even the seeds of what they claim... smh You need to do one on Aliexpress. Fraud is rampant there, they have tens to hundreds of thousands of sales

Hi great video. I have actually bought some seeds from aliexpress including those Vietnamese breast pumpkins or whatever it is. It actually sprouted and currently growing. So far it looks any random pumpkin/cucumber sprout. Any progress on your seeds? I want to know what will actually grow and if it is edible 😁 thx

I was about to buy “milk melon germ seeds” it looks like a human breast so i was interested and curious. Before purchasing (lazada philippines for P139.00 or about 2usd) ofcourse i searched it on youtube so that i have an idea how it will grow. And it turns me in this video. Thanks dude!

I bought some as well just figuring if they worked then cool if not, I still get tomatoes. So far the germination rate on the rainbow tomatoes are less than normal tomatoes and they look just like a normal tomato plant. They haven't grown enough yet to flower or fruit but I'm not expecting rainbows. I also bought the bonsai banana seeds... those are a complete waste of money as the 'seeds' they sent are not banana seeds. They may be the little black byproducts that are in the fruit itself but they are not seeds. The blueberry seeds weren't blueberry seeds. I planted them to see if they'd grow anyway just to see what they were, so far nothing. Morrell mushroom weren't mushroom spores. Etc. Basically I bought $80 worth of seeds just out of curiosity and they aren't what's advertised.

I bought shy mimosa seeds on AliExpress, grew beautifully and I have a specimen that reacts to touch :) But all other plants(many plants riding a fly)have grown up as a identicial cactus:/ See how Small baobab seeds seller sell :/ and many ppl buy it ...sick

Here in the Philippines, that shy mimosa is a grass...they are everywhere..we used to play on that grass when we we're a kid..i dont know why aliexpress selling those...😊

it took me AGES to find the right venus fly trap, literally, 60% of them were seeds and had bad reviews people saying that it grew into an actual cactus or a common weed from the sellers garden, 30% blue venus fly traps. And only 10% were actually good, but they were on American websites so I had to pay a little extra

You have to wonder how these buyers , who presumably have fairly normal intelligence , can switch off from rational day to day reckoning and become sucked in, the answer of course is curiosity at a dirt cheap price, we all have that germ in our head that likes to believe the impossible, however there is cut off point in ridiculousness. I am not usually very gullible . I however ordered some blue watermelon seeds from aliexpress. Tried every way in the world to get those seeds to germinate. Joke was on me though. I however wrote them and being the out spohken person I am I told them their seeds were bad and I was not happy

If you still have them, try putting them in a wet paper towel. Then put the towel in something that will keep the moisture in. A sandwich baggie has worked for me. Give it about 1-2 weeks. Normally my seeds will germinate in days, but I wait two weeks to guarantee all of the seeds have germinated that will. I haven't bought blue melon seeds, but the method is pretty successful for normal plants.

Theres wish that sells them also. It's a shame really because often these Ebay sellers have some uncommon, but real plant seeds, the problem then is are the actual plant seeds the real thing, or are they all dakes from that seller, it's so annoying when it's hard to find the seeds in uk or they are really expensive here, as not a naturalized plant, but they are actually native to grow in china 🤬🤬🤬
