My family is LCMS, and they love the LORD Jesus. I was born four months premature, and am the oldest of my family. I have autism, and because of lots of prayer from my family and their friends, I am alive. I know God has kept me alive for a purpose. I wish to work with senior citizens as a music therapist.
Beautiful testimony! I thought that being Christian or in any religion is boring. The thing is I was raised catholic and I grew up going to mass every Sunday and I saw everyone lived the same exact lives like people that didn't believe in God did. By age 19 I stopped going. My mom started to try going to a Christian church and I seen a huge change in her life but I didn't want to follow I was more interested in alcohol and weed. At some point God allowed for demons to torment me every night, what science calls "sleep paralysis" I seen their spirit forms and they would bite me and I can feel the pain from the fangs when I woke up. I was in torment for years and decided to finally go to church with my mom after I couldn't take it anymore with the demons and anxiety it was driving me crazy and making me angry and I was sinking more in alcohol. After 2 years of going to church Jesus changed my life and I became holy spirit filled! He set me free from sleep paralysis, depression, anxiety, alcohol, and weed. Listen, anyone can be "religious" but God doesn't want u to be. It's not supposed to be boring! It's supposed to be supernatural!! I can't stress it enough! U are supposed to experience him! Experience a supernatural change in your heart and mind! No one can make that change but Christ alone! This walk is so rewarding and far from boring ! The word is supposed to expose the heart and bring correction, not make u feel comfortable. The word is to bring a transformation in your life!🔥
@Connor Henry and u can have it. Pray and ask God to lead u to a church where his spirit is moving, where the supernatural is truly moving, and where u will have your own encounter. It's hard to look for one like that but they do exist, God bless
I feel like your story is almost the same as mine. I grew up, thinking I was a Christian. But I knew nothing about the bible. Then, I created my own universe and God to adhere to my lifestyle. And I lived a life relishing in fun & partying, drugs/drinking and relationships. I thought I was a good person, but now I know that I'm not. I'm about 2 years into my walk with God. Jesus is King. I feel change happening inside me, I still fall short all of the time, but I'm trying. Please guys, say a prayer for me, a have a lot I need to sort out still. Thank you for sharing this video. I believe it will help many others.

Just wanted to share that your testimony hit me hard sis! I've had my entire life crumble due to hanging on to my sin and trying to play the part as a "christian"... it wasn't until July 15th 2022 at 5am that the Lord brought me to rock bottom and i surrenderd everything to Him! Since then it's been tought.. fightin the urge to drink, watch porn etc.. my wife left me... but i was brought to literal tears and weeping by your testimony! It encouraged my spirit to cling to Him and not give up! I was so encouraged when you listed Macarthur, Sproul, Conway and Washer and the like.. literally some of my all time favorite preachers! God is Good.. that is all i know for now! Thank you!

Thank you for your testimony. I was pulled back to Christ about a year ago through some unlikely ways.. 1. I noticed that whatever pleasure I got from sin, it was short-term and afterwards I felt empty and had to repeat over and over.. 2. I happened to start watching NDE videos on RU-vid about people going to Hell or Heaven or both.. I kept watching and found some very genuine videos and a common theme in them which helped convict my heart. I also realized that my mind was believing but my heart was far from it.. It too was "believing" in Jesus but left out the "Lord" part and was living life on my own terms. Since then I've been seeking daily and realize just how horrible I have been and how I really need him. I pray more are woken up as it feels time is extremely short before Jesus returns. Living our lives for Christ means constant conviction, repentance and prayer. Don't let Jesus say in that day that he never knew you!

Wow - Great Testimony! Glad you learned it so young. I’m 58, I did a lot of the same things you did (including Abortion). I always had 1 foot with God (going to church, sending all my Kids to Christian Schools, appearing “godly,” etc, but always having one foot in the world - chasing accomplishments, doing things to fit in, even having secret sins. 2 years ago, I separated from My Wife and dove deep into sexual sin as what I saw in a Friend of mine. Fortunately, I got out of that and reconciled with my wife, however I still struggle with guilt and shame. Thank you for your testimony, and the Preachers you listed off are great speakers of Truth - not so much feel good, popular, etc. I pray your testimony reaches and saves many Souls.
Oh praise God for your testimony brother! A great encouragement to me when I start to fall into thought patterns of guilt/shame/condemnation is: "And such WERE some of you. BUT you have been washed, you have been sanctified, you have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." 1 Corinthians 6:11 The sword of Spirit is the word of God. So I just start repeating scriptures to myself in order to renew my mind with truth and not allow the enemy to get a foothold on my mind. When my mind goes to those dark places, I try to remember that it inhibits me from looking forward to the good works God has prepared for me to walk in. You are clean in Christ brother. Love, exalt and extol Him even more because of that. Praise Him to your wife and love her by washing her in the Word, so that she can grow in the grace of our Lord too. She will see the change and the Lord will bless you. Keep clinging to Him! What a wonderful God we serve who makes ALL things new, including US! "let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water." Hebrews 10:22

God is so loving and merciful. Thank you for sharing your testimony. You are also so right. Jesus needs to be our Lord AND saviour. Not just fire insurance. We should want to follow and obey Him after what He did for us, out of sheer gratitude. Faith and obedience are two sides of the same coin. After all we have done in our lives, as disobedient rebels, He still loved and forgave us when we repented and turned back to our loving Father. Glory to God !!
This is such a beautiful testimony. I was raised in a Christian household and got baptized when I was 6 but got rebaptized again last New Year’s Eve (12/31/2020). God has truly changed my life. I used to be a pornography and masturbation addict from the age of 12!!!!! Had a hell encounter at the age of 13 and I still didn’t wake up BUT GOD!!!!! I praise Him for saving me and not giving up on me🥺.

You are so precious, l live with the memories of my baby turning and turning mortally wounded between the two procedures. It was in 1977. I named my baby, "Anna Catherine". It took me ten years to face, "WE DIDN'T GET ALL THE PARTS" The baby's father said, "lt's either him or the baby" l made the wrong choice! Two years later l felt tiny feet kicking, l didn't know l was pregnant. I put my fingers to where l had felt those tiny feet kicking, it was two inches above my right leg and hip, in my groin area. I beg God not to take this baby, and to help me carry my baby in a displaced position due to the damage of that double procedures abortion. I was saved at in 1974. Jesus forgave me, He has changed my life. Praise God! Breanna, l will put your name in my Bible so every time l open it, l will pray for your family. My son is 41 now.

You can still fight for the lives of the unborn and encourage other women to keep their babies. Your story could be used by the Lord to impact women trying to get an abortion. Thank you for sharing. I can relate to everything you said. I love hearing other peoples testimonies and hear how the blind comes off their eyes and how we can finally hear and see the truth. After I had my encounter with the Lord I kept thinking of the song Amazing Grace. It’s a blessing to be truly saved and be in Jesus presence everyday but it’s definitely saddening when you’re the only one in your family who has died to self and now lives for the lord. You wish you can just open their eyes and change their hearts but you can’t because only Holy Spirit does that. I remind myself that God was patient with me 33 years before I surrendered to him. I have learned to let Holy Spirit guide me everyday and let the fruits of the spirit do the talking. I have learned to sow seeds and show Jesus love by following His commandments of Loving one another. I pray He helps me love how He loves and that people around can feel His love through me. The moment I feel like I’m wanting to hold on to a negative feeling towards someone I give it to God and tell Him “here take it I don’t want it; I choose you” I start my mornings giving him my day and telling him to tell me what to do and use me. No one can do that but Jesus! My family clearly sees that dramatic change in my life because they’re all freaked out and quiet lol but you can’t deny what you see… and they see all the good God is doing in my life. Praise God!

Praise God for saving you and many others, including me. We gotta keep praying with desperation for all the teenagers, for all the older folks who are deceived by the devil in different ways. Our prayers can be used by God to save them. Im not religious, and I dont go to church often but even praying at home every day is even better because there's no distraction at home ~ just you and Christ. Listening to the audio Bible every day is another good way to change the atmosphere in our homes. God bless you everyone.

If you are not into going to a church building, have you ever thought of starting your own little home church? I’ve heard it’s been a blessing to so many who do not agree with formal meetings in church buildings. Especially since God commands us to gather in some way! It’s so important to be around the body of believers to function as God designed us to and for that sweet fellowship you only find with the brethren!! 🥰
@@ourwholesomehome4967 Thank you Brianna. I agree. I meant to say above that I dont go often into a church building, I just go once in a while. But I agree with what you said about fellowshipping. In a way I do have a small church in my house because I preach to my nieces, to my brother, :)...and also when I talk to my mom and my sister over the phone, I preach tp them too. :) I made a habit to say a blessing over my family every day (the Aaronic blessing) , and that showed amazing changes. I honestly try sharing the word of God with everyone , anywhere I have a chance (tanning salon with the receptionists, or with other staff, faculty members or students at the college where I work, etc.). Sometimes it's amusing to see some people's reactions because some dismiss the subject thinking that I want to convert them..lol.. I even placed two printed paper sheets on my office door to make students aware ( and anyone else who passes by) of the Psalm 91 and the Sinner's Prayer. I had talks about Jesus even with some Muslim , Buddhists, Mormon students or faculty members, but it's not always easy because many dont have patience. So I just pray most of the time. Yes, I cant wait to find out too how my prayers helped!! God will tell us amazing things. Thank you for the kind words, and we'll keep on praying to brake all the bondages and save more souls. I will try as much as I can 🙂 to implement the ideas you gave me . I can see your Love for God , and it’s amazing because God always has a way for those hearts who are willing to receive His words. I believe that for the rest of those who are stubborn to listen, He might have mercy and compassion based on our prayers. But I think your ideas for fellowshipping are 100% important . Jesus says in 1st John 2:14,15,16 for us not to love the world because the Love of the Father will not be in us. We have to seek Him with all our heart and died to self and take up our cross and follow Him. There is a great book to read about the life of Christ that's called "The Desire of Ages" by Ellen White. We have to "Get Ready, Get Ready to make our election sure. As we see what's going on in the world today, we can know that He's coming soon, even at the door. God bless and continue to Grow in Him. Hi Brianna, thank you for your inspiring testimony and for your courage to open up like that! As a Catholic I want to add that what you rightly reject is not what we believe. The Catholic church teaches exactly what you say at the end, that nobody is made just before God by their own effort but only because Jesus redeemed every one of us. Nobody gains salvation. That's not why we pray, worship and read the bible. And that's not why we go to confession, pray the rosary or do good works either. I feel that many Christians who reject Catholicism have a wrong image of it which I agree is worth rejecting.
I appreciate this comment Mathias! I think there are a lot of Catholics (it seems like yourself) who would reject a lot of the doctrines that are taught within Catholicism itself. Mike Winger handles the topic wonderfully on his page- BibleThinker-if you search “Mike Winger + Catholicism” it should pop up. I will say this Mathias- I do believe there are many within the Catholic Church who are truly saved. Your comment was very gracious and kind and I appreciate your gentleness in approach! Check out that Mike Winger video at some point and let me know if you think he represented things fairly.
You can't really be a Catholic and reject some of its teachings. If the Catholic church doesn't have the authority from Jesus that it claims then it has no authority at all and then it would be dishonest to be part of it. Thank you for pointing me to Mike Winger. I like how he doesn't take cheap shots at Catholicism in order to bash it but he seems very educated and sincere in his endeavor. Some of the contradictions he points out are easily resolved, sometimes he supports his claims with bible verses while the oppsite could be shown using different bible verses. I've already learned a few things from watching him. Trent Horn from The Counsel of Trent has replies to several of his talks, if you are interested. They are much more informed than anything I could say. I appreciate this conversation and like it when people don't pretend we all believe the same thing and in the end it doesn't matter.
@@MathiasLehnfeld Mike Winger is very gracious and kind. I appreciate his demeanor and tone - he’s a likable guy. We do believe different things, but I believe that matters greatly in the end. It matters greatly because there is absolute truth and that truth matters to Christ…I pray all who seek to follow Him, diligently search the Scriptures and align their lives to it. No one will be right about everything, and there will always be secondary and tertiary differences, but the fundamental truths of the faith are what unite Christians across denominations. Funny timing- Justin Peters literally just posted an interview with ex-Catholic Mike Gendron. They go over many of the Catholic teachings I don’t believe are supported by Scripture (pope/papacy, baptismal regeneration, indulgences, purgatory), in much more depth. Btw- I also checked out Trent Horn…it was a snip from a debate he had with James White. He seems very knowledgeable in Catholic doctrine and zealous for the Catholic faith. I learned a lot more about what Catholics believe in the video. Thank you for sharing. In the end, I do think we will need to part ways agreeing to disagree, but I will say this…I do greatly appreciate the respectful and peaceable dialogue Mathias. It’s a very refreshing thing to encounter- especially these days! I will pray we both seek to follow Christ wholeheartedly and that His truth prevail in our lives! May the Lord bless you!

@@MathiasLehnfeld Your best move you can make is to leave the Catholic Church immediately. Everyone knows their priests are child molesters and perverts. The pope is holding the throne for the Antichrist world leader. Ask Christ to forgive your sins in prayer and if you truly want to be forgiven and truly believe only the righteousness if Christ can forgive you then I believe you will be redeemed! At that point I guarantee you will leave the satanic Catholic church. In fact most, if not all organized religious churches are false and satanic.

I know this is what has been your experience too. Keep giving your testimony, it will reach deep into the hearts of many people. The Lord will bless you here and reward you in Heaven
Honest testimony. Good until the very end. No we are not seen in His righteousness if we continue to sin, God sees our sin. Read the letters to the churches in Revelation. Their sins were apparent to God, not hidden by Christ's righteousness. We must endure to the end, overcome, and keep our garments unspotted. Or we will be blotted out of the Book of Life. Also, Jesus did not pay the penalty for our sin, which is eternal separation from God. Instead His death was an atonement for our sins. But again, the testimony part was good.
Of course God sees our sin. We are not to continue practicing sin. We are to be in the light as He is in the light. So obviously 1 John 1:8 is referring to those who are not born again, but they claim they have no sin, which is a lie of course. And 1 John 3:8 says that he who sins is of the devil. I John 2:4 tells us that believers who claim to know God but continue to sin are the liars. You have egregiously taken scripture out of context to justify your sin. I always laugh when sinners try to use 1 John to justify their sin--of all books...smh. And the Greek work translated as impute, "ellogeo," has never meant to transfer, as the English word has evolved to mean. It simply means to account. So no, Christ's righteousness is not transferred to us. His atoning death provides a way for our sins to be washed away, but again no, God does not see Christ's righteousness when he looks at us. No, He sees your sin. Otherwise the letters to the churches in Revelation would not have detailed all the sins of the churches that they needed to repent of. There is only one place of safety, one place of salvation - the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ that paid the full debt of all our sin. Our biggest mistake is to think that Christ's sacrifice alone is not enough, that we have to add to it our own righteousness and holiness before God will accept us. But God imputes the righteousness of Christ to us as a free gift when we trust in His blood sacrifice alone and not rely on our own holiness also. We are not worthy to have a relationship with God, no matter how holy we try to live. But God offers it as a gift through what Jesus did for us, through His blood that flowed to cleanse us from our sins. It is all Jesus or it's all you but it is not a combination of the two. "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their OWN righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness OF GOD. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." (Romans 10:3-4) "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." (Isaiah 64:6) Christ is the righteousness of God. This means to be right with God we need HIS righteousness to be imputed to us. We cannot partly rely on our own holiness and good works to be right with God. If we try to add anything to what Christ has already done, we negate what He has done, we make it ineffective on our part. It is like this: Jesus plus nothing (except faith in Jesus) equals everything, but Jesus plus anything equals nothing. "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace." (Galatians 5:4) The only way to be declared righteous by God is by faith in the blood sacrifice of Jesus. It is not by works, it is by faith. Faith means that you realise that you are totally unworthy of it, that none of your own merits or goodness can ever earn it for you, and that you humble yourself and receive it as a gift through what Jesus did. God declares you righteous the moment you believe the Good News of your salvation, that Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day (see 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). The moment you believe this and you stop trusting in yourself you are born from above, born again into God's kingdom and washed from your sins in the precious blood of Jesus. "And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood." (Revelation 1:5) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) So it is not about saying a prayer, inviting Christ into your heart and becoming a religious person. This won't save you. It's about you humbly believing and receiving what Jesus has already done to pay your sin-debt through His blood sacrifice, without you trying to partly earn it through your own goodness and holiness. When you believe like this you will be cleansed from your sins by the precious blood of Jesus and God will send the Spirit of His Son into your heart and you will be given the righteousness of Christ in your spirit as a free GIFT. You will be born again and become a new creature in Christ, in your spirit. By God’s working you will become one spirit with Christ. “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.” (1 Corinthians 6:17) God's standard is sinless perfection, and Jesus is that standard. Only His righteousness is acceptable to the Father. Only His life perfectly pleased the Father. The Father imputes to us the perfection of Christ, His good works, His righteousness and His holiness, as a free gift when we trust in His blood atonement for our sins. Faith is our part. It is our childlike trust that what Jesus did for us is real, that it is sufficient, and we receive it from Him as a gift, knowing that we cannot earn it, work for it or deserve it from God in any way; and that we continue in this trust, firmly, every day. If you are not covered by the blood of Jesus Christ you are not saved. We get covered by His blood by believing in our heart that only His blood sacrifice atoned for our sins. Our religious works, our sincere efforts toward holiness will not save us in the Day of Judgement. Only by being covered by the precious blood can we ever be saved. We get covered by the blood by believing the Good News as presented to us in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4: "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures." We can't make it to heaven on our own righteousnessess, they are as filthy rags (menstrual cloths) before God. We can only enter by being clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. God imputes the righteousness of Jesus to us when we are fully persuaded that His righteous blood was shed as the full and final payment for our sins and that none of our own efforts can ever save us from God’s righteous judgment on our sins. It is Jesus’ good works, His perfection, His obedience that saves us, not ours. What a beautifully crafted message! I hope people read this :) How I explain it to folks who get caught up in works righteousness is this… There’s a big different between thinking you need to work for your salvation or try to be “good enough” --this is wrong thinking. Right thinking is knowing you’ve been saved and made a new creation and therefore, there is an overflow of love and gratitude for what Christ did; the love and gratitude brings forth a natural/new nature desire of wanting to serve Him and learn about Him!

Not all birth control is bad. But most of the birth control pills out there are abortifacients. They will allow the egg to be fertilized but they do not allow it to implant. As Christians, we obviously believe life begins at conception when the egg meets the sperm, so inhibiting that life from attaching to the mom would be murder. Most women and men don’t know this about the pill! The secular world has marketed birth control saying it isn’t an abortifacient. They claim this because they do not believe life begins at conception. Their definition of an abortifacient would be something that kills an embryo that has already attached to the mothers uterus. We Christians on the other hand, would say, “no, it absolutely is an abortifacient because we believe life starts at conception, not at implantation into the mothers uterus.” Hope that made sense! I don’t think condems are bad when used between a married couple. Assuming the married couple isn’t trying to avoid children for selfish or sinful reasons. The condem isn’t stopping an already formed life, it’s just inhibiting a sperm from fertiLizing one of the woman’s eggs.

All humanity is grasping at the meaning of life like the wind. When there is no meaning, you lose hope, and when hope is gone, you lose the desire to live. Christ said "my burden is light and my yoke is easy." It is He who made us and we are His, we were made to be His people and the sheep of His pasture. Until we fall at the feet of the One who is our Creator, we wont know how to go through this life. It will make absolutely no sense. It's like putting the wrong gas or oil in a car- it wont run right. It'll get by for awhile, but eventually, the engine will give out because it's not being fed the thing that is intended to keep it going- to give it life. That is Christ for us. He said, " I am the Bread of Life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst" John 6:35 Mary, cry out and ask Jesus to help you. Beg Him to forgive your sin and make you new. Call out to Him in your pain. Tell Him you've come to the end of yourself and you have no other options. You make repentance into a work, read Jonah 3:10 KJV. Turning from your wicked ways, from your sin is works and it won’t ever save you. You are saved and regenerated completely by faith alone and it happens the millisecond you trust in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 1:13-14 KJV you are sealed with the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption the moment someone first trusts in Christ/ believes the Gospel. All it takes is having faith in his blood, that Jesus died on the cross for all of your sins, was buried and rose again… once you are saved, you are saved forever. Jesus literally died to save you from hell, and yes- salvation should change you outwardly, but that doesn’t always happen as per the Corinthians church. God was chastising many saved believers because they weren’t living correctly. If you don’t live for God after being saved you will have no rewards in heaven and you will have a miserable like on earth. But you won’t lose the FREE GIFT of eternal life. If you are counting on the way you live in any way shape or form to get into heaven/ have eternal life you are not saved and you are still on the broad path to hell. Sister, works don't save. I never said works save. That would be counter to the gospel. The good works of a Christian are from the overflow of a heart changed by Christ and produced by His Spirit working. Repentance isn't a work either. The Holy Spirit regenerates a dead man and turns him into a new creation alive in Christ. All glory goes to God for bringing the dead to life. With that comes new desires. Sin will still happen in a believers life, but it does not have dominion over him. He is Christ's now and is owned by Him, not owned by death and sin. I am not sure how you watched my video and took away that we save ourselves or can count on how we live. 1 John talks all about how those who walk in the light are of the light. You should be able to tell a Christian apart from an unbeliever. That is not any credit to the Christian...it is credit to Christ working in them. Scripture also talks about how to TRAIN ourselves in godliness and DISCIPLINE ourselves in godliness---this takes effort. We are to "grow up into Christ." Christ enables us to do that. This is why Paul encourages people to perservere in the faith. This is why Paul exhorts the Corinthian church. By the way, the Corinthian church was only THREE years old at the time of Paul's letter rebuking them and encouraging them to follow Christ. Paul also talks about how those who are living a lifestyle of sin have no inheritance in the Kingdom of God----that means not being saved. You cannot continue to live (practice habitually) in darkness/practice sin, and be Christs. The Corinthian church was full of new believers who needed to be reprimanded. Some of them Paul told to excommunicate because of their grievous sin. Christ knows who are His. Any good work that comes from us is because He has enabled us. We are NOT saved by works. We are saved by faith alone in Christ. With faith is the accompanied Holy Spirit who enables us to live and obey Christ and walk as new creations. I hope this clarifies for you. How many friends left after you become a Christian? Do you still have some of your old friends? When I become a Christian my friendships changed, basically my one best friend started distancing herself from me. I am heart broken 😭 at 33 it’s hard to make new friends.
I had three best friends of over 20 years. They all slowly left. The others that were my bridesmaids at my wedding slowly disappeared as well. I have one old friend left but we rarely chat because we don’t have much in common. We hold each other dear because of our long friendship but it’s more of a “catch up on life” when we talk. I have shared Christ with her and she politely change the subject. So, I continue to try. When you die to self and live to Christ, the old you is gone. So those things you once had in common with friends slowly start to become less and less. They love the things of the world and reject the person who you love most- Jesus. On top of that, when you share the gospel with them, it can be uncomfortable or offensive. Your new beliefs are offensive. Christ Himself being the only way to life is offensive. So it makes sense that the friendships change or disappear. Christ Himself says this will happen to those who follow Him. It happens even with family. But the Scripture says when you are hated or despised for righteousness sake, you are blessed. God sees you. It took some time but he provided me new friends. Continue to share the gospel dear sister and trust Christ. Don’t turn back to look at your old life, walk straight ahead and trust Him to take care of your needs. “Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you…” ❤️❤️
@@nargesalove228 sister, I was very very lonely for a couple years. I cried a lot. But I was never more dependent or closer to God. During those couple years my husband wasn’t a believer yet. He thought I had just about lost my mind :) but God is kind. He will provide for you. Ask him in faith to give you a godly mentor or friend- He loves to answer prayers that are in His will dear friend. He wants you to be in close fellowship with other Christians. The Body of believers needs to be together! I encourage you to start getting as involved as possible at church. It can be uncomfortable at first, but put yourself out there. I went to things alone for a years. It was awkward but everyone was SO nice. I joined a Bible study too with some little old ladies. It was awesome. They were my first Christian friends even though they were years and years older than me :)

I also stopped praying for a husband because I don't see myself marrying a man. I have been single for 10 years now. Only had a one boyfriend for 8 years, but I was with him for the wrong reasons and now that I look back, I don't think I really liked him the way I like woman....I don't know what to pray for anymore. MY future looks very lonely. My only hope right now is that someday I won't struggle with same sex attraction and loneliness- when I get to heaven.

I do not believe true Christians can lose their salvation. I think there are people who call themselves Christian or grow up in the Church and then “walk away from the faith.” I think this confuses people because they say, “see they believed then they lost their salvation!” But I would say they never really were saved. True believers will persevere until the end and Christ will uphold them. It says in scripture that people who leave the church “went out from us because they never were of us…” When it comes to sin. I think the true believer can stumble, but will not stay stuck in a sinful lifestyle. They hate their sin and want Christ to sanctify them and cleanse them from it. There are people who call themselves Christians who live a life of sin and love it. I would say those are not real Christians. If you love your sin and want to continue in it, you hate Christ and are not His. The book of 1John has been a blessing to me on this topic. There will always be goats among the true sheep of Christ. But believers do struggle with sin…and they will until they die. But the difference is, the true believer battles against it and hates it. If you are Christ’s, you can rest assured He will hold onto you and strengthen you by His Spirit. Continually seek His face! No one will ever be perfect, only Christ, but we yearn for the day our sin will be no more!!

We are Christs if we trust in him alone for salvation and that’s what we should be looking back on when we doubt… what Christ did for us. Looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Also that verse in 1 John about “they went out from us” is referring to those people who were denying that Jesus was the Christ. Read the whole chapter… also read 1 Corinthians and you will see believers in horrible sin who were chastised- they were never made to feel like they weren’t saved because they committed certain sins. I’m not sure what you mean by this? MacArthur is one of the most biblical and bold preachers of our day. He affirms the salvific truth that we are saved by grace through faith in Christ alone. That Jesus died on the cross to atone for the sins of His people.
