from an atheist to witchcraft to Jesus | my testimony 

Started out as a hardcore atheist; dabbled with Buddhism; momentarily dabbled with New Age, then Jesus saved me. He'd been calling out to me for years, but I'd been trying everything to avoid 'turning Christian'. The Spirit won out. The Lord never gave up on trying to reach me. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. Your story is so powerful.

I went from Christian baptised, atheist, Christian, New Age, then to born again Christian. I was a lukewarm Christian.

I also experienced the spiritual attacks the 1st few weeks after giving my life back to Jesus. Beautiful testimony, thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing your story! I too was Wiccan at one point, casting circle under the full moon with a local coven, playing with tarot, crystals, spirits, etc and Jesus rescued me from that life as well. It was really hard for me to walk away from all that and leave it behind and get rid of everything because I’d spent so much money on it. Then I read in the book of Acts how they all gathered all their occultic materials when they became Christians and burned them and the total value was so much money. So I got rid of everything and never looked back. Even now Satan will try to tempt me or lure me towards those things trying to present them in a “safe” way but no way. That’s not for me and God has a better way! Keep shining your light and keep sharing!! Praying for you!

I’ve been dealing with spiritual attacks since I became born again. I’m a seer so I literally have to see demonic things and it made me feel like I could never be forgive by God. But through all of that I continued seeking him and praying to him and worshipping until I realized Adonai was releasing me from the spirit of fear and that the old tactics of the enemy weren’t working anymore. I’m still going through deliverance but for me I often think about how coming to Christ was like the scene in the matrix where they took one pill and woke up in the real world. I literally had the veil lifted from my eyes. I was heartbroken and distraught. I’m going to pray for you and others that have had situations similar to you that Adonai will bring you closer to Christ. I plead the blood of Jesus over you!

I loved your testimony. God is good. Everyone needs him but they can't see how. Now that I'm saved I just see how much I need him in my life. How good he is. I also used to hate the idea of God and used to practice new age things like meditation, the law of attraction, and my sister wanted to buy tarot cards! Our parents found out, talked to us, and prayed for us. A couple months later, we started getting interested in Jesus. I am now saved. Please pray for my sister's salvation.

When I was trying to leave faith in order to sin more I felt someone was watching me for a couple of days. And that was scary as hell. I also had a friend who had contact with demons who told me that when he accepted Jesus all colors were brighter, everything was different, just like you said.

I got saved November 2019 and got several spiritual attacks afterwards - God is always there for us! Lets arm ourselves with all the spiritual weapons (Ephesians 6)

I have no idea how the RU-vid algorithm brought me here but what you mentioned about feeling like there was a presence in your room at night.......Dang! I almost spilled my cornflakes when I heard that. I had the exact same experience. I thought I was losing my mind at one stage. I'd drift off to sleep and then at some point in the night wake up thinking there was someone in the room. Sometimes I'd come to and I'd find myself standing with a golf club in my hand ready to swing it as a weapon. The closer I drew to God, the more I prayed and the more I cleared out certain objects from my home, like grounding stones, law of attraction books, heavy metal CDs.......the waking up feeling that presence went away. Until a time came when it no longer happened at all. Thanks to God. Awesome testimony, I know God will free you of the anxiety, it will happen.

I was under horrible attacks when I turned to God, But he who began a good work in us is faithful! He will see us thru!

God bless you..spiritual warfare is real when I awakened and asked for a sign from our Lord Jesus I too experienced demonic attack and sleeplessness,I couldn't sleep without light on.When I got my sign from Jesus I 🙏 prayed and he answered me.I binned all my New age stuff thousands of pounds of my 33years of deception,8 binfuls!! The 1st time I walked into my church it felt like I was 🏡 home ,tears trickled down my face through the whole service no sound just a release and a sign I was where I belonged.Praise be to God for saving me and all others who are finding there way back to Jesus.Amenxx💗💗💟

Beautiful testimony, Cheyenne! I am 31 years of age, and I had similar experiences. I had gone to church here and there with friends as a child, and always respected God and my friend's family's beliefs, but never fully understood any of it. I do remember letting Christ into my life as a young child, and I would pray specifically for a career that I wanted as I began to get older. (very specific prayers) I had met many people growing up that started to pull me in the wrong direction of life. So much in fact, that I even started an atheist/agnostic debate team in college. My math professor even began to ask me out on dates when I was 20 years old, because he thought I was such a bright young woman to go against the faith of God. In my heart, I always knew that something was wrong. I had an empty hole that I began to fill with prescription drugs here and there if my friends had them. I was never a drinker or got into any other heavier drugs, I was terrified still. I was upset with Christians for no reason of understanding, yet I knew many Christians who were in my life that I loved and respected like my vocal coach teaching me opera. I had began to become very successful in my career of singing and opera, and made many friends, but still, something was missing. I was driving one day and it began to rain, a huge rainbow appeared. It was the brightest, most beautiful rainbow, and the sky... I couldn't even begin to describe what it was. Everything opened up for me, and as you said too, I began to see the world in a new light. Immediately, the words that came out of my mouth were, "God is real." I pulled over sobbing, I couldn't drive because I felt so ashamed and guilty over everything that I had said and done. Of course, this atheist/agnostic group, I completely stayed away from it. Just never showed up, haha. Fast forward years later, I moved to Los Angeles and began to get involved in the film industry of Hollywood, and I began to go to parties with celebrities, and I thought it was my happiness. Well, I realized that I believed in God, and respected Jesus, but it was hard for me to truly realize that someone was actually resurrected from the grave. I met someone that worked in the movie business, and he was a Christian. He's much older than I, but he became a friend like no other, and like a father figure. I had no family since my mother passed away and my father was never in my life. But this guy had opened up faith to me as I would try to argue it once again, those demons and depression latched onto me. He was always so patient. Fast forward, but I decided to speak to Jesus and ask Him to reveal Himself to me. I spoke from the heart, something I've never done in my entire life, and over the days and weeks, just as you explained, I was filled with the Holy Spirit, and it's true that most don't get to this point of understanding. So I thank Jesus every single day for His salvation. Everything I did wrong, all the lies I told, began to physically hurt me in my chest, and my guilt was overwhelming. I opened up and began telling the truth to Him and to others around me, lies I've told, apologies etc. I've lost some friends, and the worst I'm going through right now is that my current boyfriend is not a believer, nor does he want to be because he said it's "not for him." and becomes hostile. I love him dearly, but I love Christ the most. I live for Christ daily and want to be more like Him as time goes by. My boyfriend told me that I had changed and I pray his heart softens, but I'm afraid that it just can't work. I'm sorry for this long message, but I love hearing testimonies, because we all have similar experiences to a degree, and it's confirmation that the Holy Spirit IS real. It's alive, and it's beautiful, and we see everyone, including our enemies, in a new light. We love everyone, and we still pray for their salvation no matter what bad they've done. Just know and remember that it takes more courage to do the right thing and to be peaceful and follow truth, than to go through this life the easy/cowardice way thinking we are self righteous gods of our own. Your testimony brings tears to my eyes because one day I hope to see you in Heaven (after we live a long fulfilling life,) or who knows, it's a small world and we may bump into each other without even knowing! My friend is also going through this. She use to be a "Christian"(lukewarm) but then she started reading Harry Potter in 7th grade and became lesbian. She became an atheist and started practicing witchcraft and have made the Harry Potter character drako malfroide her god even to go as far as wanting to go to the college where the movie was shot. Not to mention ever since then she started self harming. Please pray for her, her name is Karina

I had the same experience when I officially gave my life to Jesus. Three days in a row I felt like there was something watching and I had to sleep wirh my lights on aswell. I just prayed and prayed even it felt so exhausting and heavy at first it got better every time. Something really gave me hard time coming to Christ. Now I am free🙏💕

Ha! This reminds me of so many things that happened to me as well, the “everyone respects all religions but HATES Christian’s” yup, and I hated them too; also the terror when trying to fall asleep and feeling like there was someone else there and I even heard things.

Great testimony, you are so brave and inspirational. You ever read where Jesus cast the devils out of the man in the graves? The man begged to go with Jesus but Jesus said, “Go and tell everyone what great things the Lord has done” and when Jesus came back the whole town was waiting for him! hi! i’m not sure why the Lord led me to your testimony but i’m glad He did. ours is quite similar but mostly with the fear of sleeping in the dark and having to turn on childhood shows or shows that had some form of light. i struggled with that for years...or honestly all of my life. finally after a month or two ago i was able to sleep without the need of tv-however i do have my moments. it was lovely hearing it from your perspective because i never thought it could be anything spiritual..just wow. thank you for sharing love and God bless ❤️

I am 12 years old and right now confused about my faith. About a year ago I had experienced the same thing, I felt someone was watching me. It was hard to sleep at night without 'him' scaring me. Now I sleep in peace because of Jesus and God. I just feel like I need to find Jesus because there is still a part of me that doubts if he is there. If he really love me, if really cares for me, if really is the truth. I know this may sound a bit cheesy but this is truly what I want.

Don't know how you came across my RU-vid algorithm, but I'm glad you did. Thank you for your testimony, I hope all is going well with your walk. A couple things that continuously help me is focusing on Exodus 34:6 and trying to memorize the book of James. It is definitely one of the most helpful books in the Bible.

Went through the same thing queen , life is good and GOD IS GREAT. I started my journey in 2018 ..got saved in 2019, for the entire first year of being saved i was under extreme demonic attack but like yourself i began to listen to my Bible at night and asked the lord to remove fear from my heart and mind. Each day we are tried and tested but rejoice because tribulation will make you a stronger Christian 🙏🏽

Wow, this touched me deeply. Especially what you went through in middle school. I was never an atheist but I wasn’t serious about my faith and barely prayed. A couple years back I was going through the hardest time in my life. One day, I was close to suicide and I called out to God, crying and begging. I had a near drowning experience when I was younger so every time I was sad it always felt like I was drowning. All of the sudden I feel a warmth around me and mind you the room is cold to the touch. Y’all I didn’t see Jesus but I saw Jesus! It’s hard to explain but I just knew it was Him that had His arms around me. Ever since then I have been working on strengthen my faith. Kinda like Matthew 14:31 when Jesus pulls Peter out of the water and says, “oh you of little faith, why did you doubt.”

i was baptized at the age of 6 months in a Catholic church and I never found joy in going and really doubted God all the time. Then I told everyone around me, including my parents, that I was an atheist. Years after that I started to focus on witchcraft due to my dad’s native american influence. I enjoyed it, I really did, but I felt like something in me was missing. So then I started to read more about the word of God and I felt like i found my missing piece. Though I still struggle in who I am religiously, I know that The Lord is helping me in each step that i take.

Hi I have a really similar testimony! Grew up with a christian family went through a rebellious teenage phase struggling with the beginnings of depression & anxiety which led into a deeper slump during my early twenties. Got super into alternative lifestyle etc and lived on my own terms. Thankfully the Lord led me back to him where I repented and became born again. I would really encourage you to seek a true deliverance ministry to intentionally deal with the open doors we all have created through our past sin especially if you have dabbled in the occult (like myself) we open ourselves up to receive a lot of spiritual bondage. We have the Holy Spirit dwelling in our inner man (your spirit that becomes born again) but we need our flesh to be purified from demonic spirits through deliverance. You can also do self deliverance prayers. Take it to the Lord of course. Take care and God bless you.

I grew up in the church, in fact, my dad was a pastor and still is till this day Because he was always doing his ministry as a kid, as well as my brother being born around the time I gained consciousness I harbored a lot of resentment towards my family and carried that until two weeks ago when God saved me . I was just beginning to get into new age, but before that I had identified as a Christian/agnostic but really had no strong beliefs about Jesus amongst many beliefs and ideas that ideas that I held. long story short Jesus delivered me two weeks ago🎉 I feel free. In fact today, I lost my job and failed a major exam but I feel no pain because I’m free from the control of evil spirits that drive anger and resentment. He is the healer of healers.

Thank you for this beautiful testimony video! Please do pray for me- I've been in a christian family my whole life, my dad is a vicar and I am really involved in my church. Despite this I am really struggling at the moment. I have no motivation to read my bible and I think one of the main things I can't grasp is the weight of sin and significance of salvation. I feel that Jesus seems very impersonal and I feel like I'm talking to myself and going crazy whenever I try to pray. I know that God is waiting for me but I don't understand what's going wrong, why I can't seem to take this faith I have grown up with as something that is real for me. Please pray for clarity and people christian fellowship in my life. 💞

Every testimony video I’ve seen of someone that left new age/witchcraft for Christianity, the person describes feeling an evil presence in the room with them when they’re trying to sleep whether it be nightmares, sleep paralysis, etc in the month or so following their pursuing Jesus. It’s really interesting to see how people’s stories share so much similarity.

God bless you my beautiful little sista, Amen Jesus is real, I was lost for so many years, I opened a doorway to the demonic through sin, I gave permission to Satan and his demons over my body and my life without knowing it, I got oppressed, possessed, I was tormented for a whole year, this was in 2016 how this evil stuff happened was one night 2 shadows crept up to my side door I invited them in, I waived them in and in my mind I told them to come in, so you can see where I was at in my life. Evil things started happening seeing shadows move from one wall to the other, seeing blurry Image's, hearing voices, seeing spheres, sicknesses, nightmares every night, in my nightmares something would be on my chest screeching in my face, gasping for air in the middle of the night, heartburn everyday, I couldn't eat anything if I did I would get violently ill for hour's, I too suffered from deep depression, I couldn't be around christians I would fly into a rage, I wasn't a nice person to be around, Satan was separating me from my loved ones, I didn't follow Jesus so I was truly alone, Satan was trying to destroy me mentally and physically. At the end of that year I was at the end of myself I was contemplating suicide or getting institutionalized, I saw no end to this misery, well the very next day Jesus stepped in he showed me the spiritual realm, what I invited in, what I was serving, it was horrific, horrible, I saw all kinds of demon's animal like one's, reptile like one's, deformed creatures, this experience lasted for hour's and I was awake, our eyes aren't meant to see that place, my mind couldn't wrap around what I was witnessing it was very bad it was so bad I was going insane, the fear, terror it grips you, I started mumbling, couldn't form word's, finally I screamed out for Jesus, help me, he showed everything evil took off, I want to let you know before this experience I couldn't stand the name of Jesus, didn't have time for Jesus, ignored him for year's, hated for people to preach to me about Jesus and now I was screaming for him, he loves us so much he still saved me, cured me, second's after seeing Jesus I started getting queasy I ran to the restroom and threw up the demon's inside of me had to flee, Jesus cleansed my body and my house, Hell is real, Satan is real, demon's are real, Jesus is real I saw him, stay on fire for the Lord, Jesus cured me of my depression, my addictions, everything, that was in 2017 I finally have peace, rest, we have been set free my sista, God bless you and your family we're in God's embrace, love you take care, your brotha in christ, sold out for Jesus

Also our names are the same 🥰 I was raised in Christianity but slipped away after I got baptized because I “never got anything out of it” but I never dabbled in Ouija boards or anything like that because I knew better from by Christian background. I stayed away from 12 to 21 (now). I’ve been wanting to make my testimony video as well but I’m still thinking about it. I want to have everything together so I don’t leave anything out or say anything wrong

In 2018 Jesus saved me on my kitchen floor. He took away decades of suicidal thoughts and depression in an instant. I felt his love and I will do everything I can to feel that love again.

Awesome! I believe your anxiety will get better as y o u learn to rest in God's redemptive love. Axiety comes when you worry about future possibilities but you can rest knowing God will never leave you nor forsake you. He won't give you more than you can handle.
