@@JackAynsleyTravel I would say go on any day expect weekend( Sat/Sun ) as their is huge crowd rush on weekend as Many people visit this Holy place to pray . It is Biggest Holy workship place for sikhism . You can also check weather forecast as summers are really hot here in India 🥵 .

In local market some sellers are very much concern about video recording because sometimes they involved in some illegal activities...they have a fear this video might catching them or give a lead to police. So better pause the recording atleast for few minutes to satisfy them... because locals are unpredictable especially in these kind of local markets.
