Great review. My first NECA turtles ended up being KOs. The fingers were stuck to eachother on some of mine. For what the price was to me even the KOs are worth it. You can also challenge yourself to customize them without the fear of messing them up. That’s always a plus vs reals ones. Great review tho. 🍻🤙🏽🫡

I definitely agree with ya on them being worth it for the price point. They still brought/bring me joy rather they’re real or not (even tho legit would be cooler lol) that’s all that matters. @@TheStonedMandalorian I felt the same way fake or not. I had tmnt movie turtles in my hands and it made me happy like I was 8 years old again having toys in my hands.
Protip for anyone reading this... if the "only at gamestop" logo is printed on, not a sticker.. its KO.... if the bellys are unpainted yellow.. its KO.... if the beach is almost white.... its KO
The Neca kos are really good. I realized they were fake because some of the lettering on the boxes are slightly blurry on the edges. The figures are well made for kos
I was thoroughly suprised at how decent they actually were. Better than some KOs from other lines iv seen. They are definitely better made than I would suspect from some KOs.
the paint on the real ones looks so much better though. i have the original ones like these knock offs. the single packaged ones. those knock offs look ok but once you see the real ones you will notice how bad the knock off ons are. i strongly recommend you getting real ones. if you like those you will love the real ones. they are worth the price too. i promise
I feel ya Kyle. I’m sure you’re right. I have looked at some of the OFFICIAL Neca pics, and the quality of these that I have is definitely nowhere near the legit ones. They do still look cool and I love them on my shelf, but deep down I know there is probably a SIGNIFICANT difference in person. I am definitely considering getting some legit Neca turtles sometime in the future perhaps. Thanks for watching and commenting man. I appreciate it! Also for the advice. N matter what. they are always going to be the best more affordable version of the figures i always dreamt of as a kid. Great video dude! I like the way you were showing the details of the turtles. My first Neca turtles were also KOs. They do look awesome because they are made from the same molds. But when you see the legit ones.. you definitely see the difference . I bought the KOs for $26 each I think. I thought it was a good deal since people were selling them wayyyy more expensive. but the 2packs are showing up at walmarts now for $60. If you can still return them ,you should look in to it.

That sucks. The accessories do seem a bit lack luster. Mikey’s nunchucks are the worst of all the accessories in my opinion. Very thin plastic type strand of string connecting them. But for mine; Leo’s katanas seem pretty decent and sturdy for mine, not much to Donatellos staff but it has some nice sculpting, and Raphs sais are pretty decent as well. That sucks you had a bad experience with your purchase. Unfortunately these may be more for “display” than “play”. Thanks for watching!
@@timbo1992 man I feel ya. It’s definitely not Neca figure quality, but damn is it nice to have some representation on the shelf for them. I’d say take the chance! If they turn out to be really slack, I’m sure with buying through Walmart you will be able to easily return them. I love mine! So I say go for it! Ya never know.
Yea that sucks man. It is quite a bummer to see sloppy paint. But by the time they’re up displayed on the shelf, sometimes that can be hard to notice. In your head it will always bother you but from a distance it allows you to look over it for the time being. I seemed to have got lucky with the teeth eyes fortunately. I thought to myself “damn Neca has some slack QC”, then later on during the review I saw the same print bio for Mikey on ALL the turtles boxes. That’s when I figured something wasn’t right. But as long as you enjoy them that’s all that matters!
Yea I know, that’s kinda what the video is about man. I didn’t realize at first. But I figured it out WHILE doing my review. Just due to packaging alone, and the way they were packaged. Did you even watch the video? lol. I’m not trying to be rude. But I literally explain everything at the beginning of the video. lol.
No don’t buy fakes! Just get to know people in the collector community and you could have found on at retail price. Walmart is now a joke because I also got scammed from Walmart. Never buy from Walmart again.
Yea preferably I wouldn’t but in this case it was kinda an accident. But it is what it is. I still like them and they look pretty decent. Other than the bits of sloppy paint I can’t complain. The face sculpts also aren’t quite as crisp as the legit ones, but still very decent for the price.
I mean in comparison to the actual Neca, yea. lol. But for a third of the price I can still have the 90s turtles on my shelf. I have to disagree with ya. I don’t think they look “horrible” but they are definitely not the quality I’d probably get from a legit Neca. Im suprised the eyes weren’t worse than they were. They were actually pretty straight and nicely painted. Iv seen some KO’s where the eyes are TERRIBLE. One looking one way and one looking the opposite lol. But for 24 bucks each, it was worth it in my opinion. I think they look pretty dope tbh.
