If you notice the passive radiator and driver aren't paired as well on the counterfeit jbl. Passive radiators are tuned to respond with the driver like a simulated port with a certain roll off and if you noticed on the counterfeit jbl it actually starts to work against the driver as if the Passive isn't correctly mass tuned to the active driver or the dimensions of the inner or even material weight differences in the counterfeit are causing undesired sound or causing active driver to reach its limitations before fully loading the Passive sorry for the run on ramble just a passers-by observation and inference.

The fake one lacks bass and sounds a little distorted and the real sounds nice clean and has good amount of bass and has no distortion

Watching while using JBL GO 3, hype

First look, the right one was the original one just basing on the mesh pattern and quality. But in reality, the left one is a really good copy. If there wasn't a real one to compare to, I would have no second thoughts that the left one was real

Just by looking at it you know which one looks premium, clean and wasn't overdone.

Becoz the real one was also made in China. Someone worked there used the remaining materials & parts to make more by using the same machines in the same factory. Otherwise no one will fake a $35 speaker.

Fakes have improved so much these days that the only clear cut physical difference one can discern is the moving rubber on the loop. Even the sound quality has improved, someone should do a water test on one.

I won one of these at an arcade in that one game with the key where you have to time it right get it through the hole so the key turns and pulls it. And thanks to this video I know it’s legit

Look at the back strokes on the rubber of the original, they start from small to large, the fake starts directly with a large stroke. That's how you can tell if you have an original or a fake. About a thumbs up I would be happy. your'e welcome.

In my first order the fake one there something I noticed to the sound when turning on its not the same as my other jbl speakers. That's why I sell it right away and bought a new one and it label Anatel the sounds is more pleasing to my ears. I search everywhere to find jbl go3 fakes and I couldn't find anything. That premium copy impress me with its looks

in case of the real one the usb c port is somewhat more visible than the fake one

On the audio The fake one sounds Distorted compared to the real and the real one sounds nice and clean the fake one sounds distorted

I hate when people think a flapping passive means anything. It just means it's lighter/looser. It's replacing a bass port so it's just like having a smaller port which makes it "feel" like more air is moving. In reality, a flappy radiator means it's poorly tuned.

Mine has the serial number printed in white. But, the rest everything is as same the original as mentioned in the above video. I got my serial number registered in the JBL official website for warranty as well. Even it acts the same as the original in the second real vs fake test video

Nice review. I got scammed on ebay it was partly my fault for not checking the sellers location but I saw a JBL speaker and clicked BUY IT NOW and when I got tracking info I noticed the speaker was coming from China and knew immodestly I had bought something counterfeit, nothing I could do but wait for it to arrive and it arrived today as suspected the JBL speaker is indeed a counterfeit with the rubber parts peeling off and general poor quality I had an original one to compare it with. No device could detect it so I'm unable to do a sound test other than listen to the tone turning it on and off and I could hear distortion in the on/off tone. Because it came from China I'm pretty much stuffed for returning it to get my money back and I paid full retail price for this junk. I don't know if I will get my money back. If not it will go in the bin. Lesson learned. I will buy directly from JBL next time.

If u want to know which is orginal jbl go 3 ,the orginal one have counter weight piece of metal inside for weight, may be the fake one doesnot have it, thts why when the fake one plays music its starting to bounce but the orginal one not doesnt bounce like the fake did.and also passive radiator in fake looks duplicate, but the orginal passive radiator blends with the speaker, nice and clean design.there are other things to look for orginal from fake, u cant copy all things from the orginal.

You can see Original one's and the fake one's Passive radiator.original radiator is not shiny the fake one shines..look at 4:25 you can see the difference.also in 5:42 when you press the speakers you can see the original speaker shows some like i dont know how to say when you press down the original it like a star but the fake one dosen't show that. sorry my English is bad but i think y'all got what i'm trying to say

What are the first two letters of the serial numbers. JBL will put out one product like the Flip 5 for example but have four different versions (GG, CS, ND, TL) that have visible differences inside. However nobody knows why JBL does this.

In 4:45 i just realized that the right one is the Real JBL Go 3 because of the "Anatel" simbol Every single piece of hardware that emit some tipe of wave has to been aproved by Anatel in Brazil, obviously there is some devices that has not been aproved by anatel but, jbl is one of hundreds that really haves the symbol.

I probably got the best, almost the same fake jbl go 3 ever. Only two things are off putting, led indicator and turn on sound. They put bludud has been activated sound to it combined with a windows opening sound. I contacted the online market I bought it from, they won't even cancel the seller on their market. But man the sound and the bass is really impressing for an imitation

Please check this for me if you can: Does the real GO 3 turn to the Low Frequency Mode when pressing the Vol- and Bluetooth button simultaenously for 10 seconds? It is a supposedly a feature of Go3 and all other JBL mini-speakers (google it if you need clarification). I went to 2 stores locally and the feature din’t work.
