Man u just hit the sweet spot when it's comes to reviewing a speaker. I went through lot of reviews about this product but ur review tops in that list. Everybody kept on talking over the specs but no one did a actual sound test except for few. You did a proper sound review, outdoor testing was awesome. And one thing what I liked about ur video was u kept it simple I liked it very much. I wish u get more and more subs.Just don't stop what ur doing . 🙏
Man u didnt hit any sweet spots ! No one wants to hear from their speaking either not even their fans! 😂 Man u got trashed 4-0 to brentford! Thats how they speak! Thats their "sweet spot" 😆
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ru-vid.comUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
I can tell the difference in the bass and the volume with the Clip. I can't believe how good they sound for how small they are this is a kick-ass review man thank you again as always. 💯🇺🇲👍
This is honestly one of the best produced reviews I’ve seen while going down the JBL RU-vid rabbit hole. Your input is well-worded and much appreciated; do you know if these color options are specific to your country? They aren’t available on JBL’s site in the US unfortunately and I quite like them
I have Go 3 and I really love it.. droped many times, got rain, but still alive. I'm a food delivery using motorcycle.. I listening music while do food delivery. Thanks JBL for rugged design!
I have that little go 3 thingy, and i must say that every time I listen to it, it just kind of surprise you with how clear the sound is..as shown in the video. Sure there are better sounding speakers out there, but that 4.2 watt is just magic..hehe. was considering xb12, but change my mind..clip 4 sounds a bit more open and punchier to my ears..nice
I recently got the go3, here in the u arse it's $39 as compared to $59 for the clip. Really impressed with the sound quality and clean bass at high volume without distortion. In store (Wal-Mart) comparison revealed the clip had slightly more volume but not enough to justify difference in price.
The reason why the clip 4 has more trouble is because it is likely to be out of odd angle to The listener, where is the go three can be more precisely pointed. It doesn't mean it's better, although having more power is always a good thing. You can replicate the trouble difference with EQ.
Just went and picked up a clip 4 because of this video, It was the perfect comparison video to understand which one is better for me and my needs Definitely dropping a sub thankyou!
I have been an audiophile since i was in my early teen age years.I'm a former Specialist from Circuit City,U.S.A...LIFE is B#!ch...I live in the U.S.A where JBL originates, and by watching this fantastic young man from Australia i have just made my purchase decision on the Clip 4..Your tests need no explaining..Very good content video..Congrats.
Of course you make the clip 4 sound better than the Go 3...because you hang the clip 4 in mid air and the Go 3 landed on the table or flat surface...you can't compare them this way, any speaker hang in mid air produce the best quality sound, as there is no conduction sound to object it stood on...for the first part, on the garden test, one cannot really tell the different between the two of them.
Grrrreat review man! Let me start by saying the LAST thing I need is another BT speaker lol. But when I saw the Go3 on sale locally for $30, I decided to look into it, and possibly find a use for it. Your video told me everything I need to know, to make a purchase I don't even need! They both sound incredible for the size, with a nod toward the 4. I like the extra bass and warmer sound. But, they aren't on sale, so I'll have to make due with the 3, which sound pretty darn good on its own. I really just plan to use it when I travel, especially since I like to play music for an hour while I fall asleep. This will be more than adequate.
I won the jbl clip4 during the holidays, in a white elephant game! I’m so happy with it! We used it that night, straight out of the box, for 5 hours, no problem, and still went home, and used it for another 7, and it still had some charge for the next day! Battery life is phenomenal! Sound is superb! I love this little powerhouse of a speaker! Your review was spot on, with my personal experience! 👍🏼
Got the Go 3 & Flip 6.... Great lil speaker's, I got a daughter in College so just ordered her a clip 4 that she can use around Campus just clip it on her backpack 🎒 and Go!! Lol
I'm really surprised no one is seeing the biggest con on the clip 4. The power button is on the side and it constantly turns on and off when in a backpack or pocket or luggage. It would have been ideal to have it above beside the clip so it can prevent from turning on/off 🤷♂️
Good review man 👌 But why many comments on another videos complained that clip 4 don't have more bass like go 3 and sound not good Unlike your clip 4 !? I ordered clip 4 army color .. Should i get go 3?
Jbl go 3 and clip 4 are good but if you want more bass buy and use clip 4. The man who explained the video is clever to differentiate the two Jbl speakers he tried to let us know a slight difference, much love to you.
I just did this comparison for myself and the Clip 4 sounds noticeably better than the Go 3. I kept the Clip 4 and returned the Go 3. I like the rope handle better than the Clip though. You could just add a carabinier to the rope. While the clip is sure to get scratched up.
Thanks for such a thorough review. I am totally blind, and it was quite easy that the clip 4 sounded better. I'll have to pick one up soon. I'm sure it will sound great when I read books from audible, or listen to audio dramas, or watch described movies. Thanks again for the good review.
I have the Go3 and I’ve been very disappointed with the battery life. I definitely do not get more than 3 or so hours. I charge it and before I realize the red light is blinking. Considering the Clip now. the original clip is the first bluetooth speaker I ever bought. Also the ago 3 is super annoying how it dances around and the slat feet on the bottom started peeling off as soon as I took it out of the box the first day.
no sense that it with these two speakers JBL took out the ability to daisy chain them together. why? it's literally the best thing about Bluetooth speakers to go threes Daisy change it together would be such a perfect combination that the fact that they left that out is mind-blown. not that they need it but they would make so much more money if they would allow people to connect to JBL go 3's together. one is already super loud but two paired together would be perfect. it would be perfect. and it's so light and durable you could literally put them both on the same carabiner and clip them to your backpack. but now instead of doing that they failed to cover the charging port which means even though it's waterproof you can still ruin it by submerging it in water and they took away the best feature which is pairing two speakers together... and they're overpriced just like every other jbl speaker that's ever been created. do yourself a favor and go buy two tribit. storm boxes, pair them together, save money and have a better music listening experience. by the way it's an absolute joke that the clip for across 7499. for a five watt speaker. a five f****** watch speaker they have the audacity to charge their loyal customers $75. you know how many watch the tribute storm box is? 24. so if you buy two and pair them together you get 48 watts of power. compared to five punk ass watts from the clip 4. it's a shame that tribit isn't more well known because hands down they have Superior products for a fraction of the cost of JBL who has knownly been overcharging the oil customers for f****** years.
I'm getting the go3 next week, I was considering clip 4 but it's like 50€ the black one and the other colors are 70€ which is not worth it imo. On the other hand go3 has amazing sound as well, better design and is half the price , the only downside is the battery life , but nothing a power bank can't solve
I use my clip 4 at work and at 100% volume my speaker only lasts 4 1/2 to 5 hours. Also the get around the not being able to sit up the speaker problem there are some cases that help with that on amazon.
I have both and i really love the clip 4! It is in all possible ways way better than the go! You can easily attach it to the belt holder of your jeans and barely notice you have it with you, sounds better and the battery life on the go3 is very very bad!! Don't waste money on the go3! Go for the clip if you want this compact size speaker. Don't expect good bass on either...
in my opinion the go 3 is much better in terms of value for money unless ur willing to pay the extra for slightly better sound quality bcz the go 3 is lighter, has a better design imo and if u want the clip feature u can just use a carabiner so its def more versatile
That is a perfect review, I was just missing an example of how strong that clipping part is. Otherwise, it was so helpful to figure out which one I want to get. Thank you so much, I don't need to do any more research after this (or before, this is the first vid that popped up)!
No multi-pairing is a bit painful. I used to it in my Shure headphones. I hope they will implement it in next version. But slow charging is pretty acceptable for me in this price range. And I don't care about missing equalizer. It sounds good enough ;)
I very much prefer the Go 3 over the Clip 3, but I'm surprised the Clip 4 actually sounds slightly better than the Go 3, though not by enough to be worth the extra bucks, for my preferences.
🙂 "Life's to short for crappy sound!" ✌🏼 Thank you for all your videos they have helped me made decisions on purchases. I appreciate your passion. 😎 (heads up tho...anyone had a clip break on a clip1 ,2 or 3? Make sure you register your all your devices!!! 👍🏻 better safe than sorry!)
Hi, Lovely clear detailed comparison, thanks very much. One question, I listen to audiobooks most of the time, and was wondering which you would go for ? I tend also to have the volume quite low and on my old JBL Flip 3 it didn't quite go low enough (though the clarity of voice was really good compared to big bassy speakers !!). Oh, I listen to podcasts too. The difference in price for me is not great so I don't mind that, I just would like to know which you would purchase for spoken clarity. Many Thanks !
by the way I'm not saying that JBL doesn't make good products. but I'm saying there are far more Superior brands who have the decency to not overcharge the living dog s*** out of their loyal customers. and their speaker sound better.
