Your guy says the upper is made of both suede and nubuck... if that's the case, which parts are suede and which parts are nubuck? Here's the truth... they look similar because they both go light to dark with movement right? Nubuck looks like matte leather... while suede you can SEE the fibers/nap... the British khaki 6s are suede my friend. The olive 6s are nubuck. Here's another example... the TS J1s are also mocha nubuck, as well as the university blue 1s. Think about it... don't those look similar material wise? Do any of them have fibers as high and nappy as the British khakis? No, because they're not the same material. Nubuck is made from the outside layer of the skin, suede is from the inner/fleshy layer. They have similarities often people get them mixed up... but trust me. I know what im talking about.
Just got a pair of reps, there insanely well detailed just the color is a little lighter, I’m a little worried to spray the mink oil because of the generic material. How would you recommend applying it & drying it?
Literally just spray it on. I use a heavy amount when I spray soaking the maturely. Once dried then just brush it with a suede brush. Then continue to apply the mink oil until you are satisfied.
Link? Need these the Bred 4s and WC 4s reps. Have the real ones some new some worn once or twice but still in perfect condition So I need the reps of each to rock and preserve the real ones
When you compare both the real and the fake at the end of the video, the jumpman on the replica tongues are a lil off. If you compare both the tongues on the replica, the jumpman on the left shoe seems a lil off compared to the right, not sure if its the viewing angle here although the right tongue is nearly identical to the real thing.
