I was born in Fakenham and still have a lot of family living there. They use to have a cattle maket once and biggest employer was Cox and wyman printers.

Hi Graham and Wendy From Mary in London on a dreadfully wet day. Its been like a monsoon the last 2 days . Ive been watching your North Norfolk videos. I used to have a beautiful caravan on Pinewoods, off Beach Road, Wells-next-the-sea. Been visiting North Norfolk for about 32 years. 99% of time based in Wells. Burnham Market is lovely too. I love Fakenham Market. Good plants/garden items and food. Sheringham market a little reduced now but theyre trying to promote it. One place mesmerised me; the little church on the Sandringham Estate where Royalty go each Christmas Day. The silver altar etc is just wonderful. The silver was a wedding present from overseas to Elizabeth and Phillip. I saw that the Albatross is re-docked in Wells Harbour after extensive renovations. It was once a Dutch Pancake House. Enjoy yourselves. Regards from Mary in London but born in Durham City.

Hi Mary from London. Thank you for putting your first name, it just makes it feel more friendly. I too have visited Norfolk for a long time, it’s wonderful isn’t it. We have camped at pine woods and as you say it a lovely place. I didn’t film in sheringham market this year. We have been on the poppy line others years too. We have sat on the albatross a few times when it sold the pancakes, I wonder what they will do with it now. It just looks fantastic in the harbour. So jealous of your good weather Graham and Wendy and what a fantastic market,we have one every Sunday at Ayr Racecourse but it's not a patch on that,more car boot than market to be honest,we've had a stall a few times our selves just to sell of accumulated unwanted stuff like toys clothes bric a brac etc,quite lucrative and good to clear out your cupboards,very enjoyable video guys

It was when we caravanned in Norfolk but it’s took a while to sort the videos out. Thank you Richard. I do love a good market and that on looks terrific. Next time you booth go give a shout and I will send a transit van down with a shopping list so you can fill it up for me. Hi Vince, we loved wondering round Fakenham and especially the market. The atmosphere was so good and so many varied items. I was like a magpie with that beautiful old knife, as you say it was just lying around. I tried to show as much of the old items as I could. It’s all memories for us oldies. I did get Wendy an old Sheffield steel butter knife that cost 20pence. 😂😂😂😂😂 thank you Vince 👍

You can not beat a bit of military memorabilia and coins on a market , the large medal you referred to was it not the death medal , presented to families , I always thought they had the name of the person who died in the war
