How good was Falcao actually? #GOAT

A great video about Falcao filled with facts.. Falcao is a word class player and highly talented. He was among the best strikers of his era and if not for injuries he'll definitely win the world best though his colourful career. One thing that made him standout is his mental toughness bcos most players wouldn't have accomplished what he did had they encounted the same setbacks as Falcao. But despite his cereer threatened injuries which are constant.Yet, he managed to be competing at the highest level and giving world best players who are injury free a run for their money. I believe his greatness lies in his mental toughness and never say die attitude. Besides, he was a delight to watch even when he's not playing well. Yet, you'll still notice that touch of brilliance and flashes of a Genius that made him One of the Best of his era. Falcao remains one of the best strikers in the history of football. To accomplish what he achieved with the amount of injuries he had made him One of the greatest footballer of all time. Bcos only few footballers would've been able to accomplish such fate given the circumstances. Falcao is highly missed bcos he was always a delight to watch.. Nice video.

To the people who keep saying. “Oh, Falcao shouldn’t have left Atlético.” “Oh, he went out chasing money.” Falcao didn’t want to leave Atletico, he was forced to. UEFA was investigating & banning third party ownership of players and Falcao was one of the many players whose rights weren’t 100% owned by their clubs. When Atlético wanted to buy Falcao from Porto they were in financial straits, so a third party investor stepped in and agreed to finance 55% of Falcao's €40M transfer fee in exchange for 55% of his registration rights. In other words. ATLÉTICO DIDN’T OWN FALCAO. THIRD PARTY INVESTORS DID. Atlético only had to pay Porto €18M and would have had to pay this third party investor 55% of his market value to keep him. Which they couldn’t afford. That’s why when Monaco bought him, they had to pay Atleti €27M & his third party owners €33M under the table so they could reserve his complete sporting rights, since UEFA was cracking down on third party ownership of players.

He's a victim of circumstances; when he came to Manchester United and Chelsea he rarely played full matches playing last 10-15 minutes at most. It was clear that he didn't have the full support and confidence by each coach (especially when you consider what the condition of the clubs were at the time of his respective loans). That and how injuries came at bad times during his later career made him very inconsistent. Hell the fact that he's doing amazing with Rayo right now back in La Liga really is a statement to how his ACL never really made him lesser. Even then since that injury he's had such unique and special moments showing what he can do still if playing regularly.

I still wonder what that Porto team would have achieved if that overrated loud mouth Villas Boas hadn't left for Chelsea and thus making Falcao leave the club as the Champions League project for that season got a severe blow. That team was so good and has such insane chemistry that it felt anything was possible. The trio of Hulk-Falcao-James in their primes was a stellar world class offensive threat. Clearly, they were too good for the Portuguese league.

Not really. Sports were always well financed and developed in the old Eastern Bloc countries, so nothing about the Polish success is that impressive or unique. They had a great striker (Lato) a great playmaker (Deyna) and a whole lot of luck, beating the worst Brazilian team ever in the 3rd place game. Czechoslavakia won the Euros two years later, which was a far more difficult accomplishment at that particular time due to the vast superiority of European soccer over the South American and the difficulty of qualifying for that tournament.

Since you're from Portugal, can you make a video on how Portugal managed to have such a great generation despite having only ~10 million citizens (it used to be even lower and Portugal still mananged to produce talent)? Like many footballers, their struggles & how they got through them needs to remembered. To remember what he did, what could have been but still stuck through even with many things blocking his way.
