Falcon 4.0 • Training Mission 11: Flameout Landing

this is the same mission in vanilla Falcon 4. Right from the bat you can see there is a lot less to do - jettison stores, declare an emergency and glide towards the runway. Here we have not enough energy to perform overhead approach so we're going straight in. According to the manual, if you have the touchdown point at 11° below the horizon and your AOA is not more than 6° you should make it. After touchdown boards out, keep gun cross at 10° for aerobreaking, after nose drops apply wheel brakes. Nothing to it. I was even able to vacate the active runway with the remaining kinetic energy stored in the jet.
