@@liez115 I think you will, my brother, I hope someday we will be brothers-in-arms as airmen. In our hands, and in our hearts, we have the opportunity to serve not only the greatest nation, but also the greatest Air Force. It is young-American such as us, that strive to protect America and it’s posterity in the most difficult and arduous of ways. You still have the opportunity to receive an appointment, as do I, even with the personal demons I’m fighting with. If it’s truly what you want for your future, you will receive it.
Congratulations to all these Cadets and Officers-to Be. In a galaxy far away and long ago,I was given a second chance as well and attended Millard Prep School (1968). And though I still struggled during my 4 years at USAFA and finished near enough the bottom to be able to see the last Graduate,I am so proud that all of us made it.The greatest victory for you and your Falcon scholarship is not any of your scores;it is that the Academy recognized how much you cared. That's what the school is all about.
