A truly amazing eagle, Worzel’s presence I’m sure can only be realised from visiting your centre watching him in full flight, this insight was excellent we really enjoyed seeing some great pictures and video of Worzel the Bald eagle looking majestic with his adult plumage. Looking forward to the next.
Werzel, dont know if I spelled it correctly but hes definitely a handsome young fellow. It was interesting to learn that their feathers turned as they got older. I thought they were born with those characteristics. Very majestic
In local english at the time, bald meant white headed. So a lot of bird species are called bald. I also heard its because from very far away a standing eagle kinda looks like a small bald man.
What's the point of breeding and training these birds for shows? Doesn't sound like something an actual animal lover would do or support, but ok... If it was raising falcons for pest controls I'd find it understandable, but this is just so toxic and harmful to animal welfare. All it does is make more assholes own exotic pets.
