Players weren't great but my biggest concern is still Goodwins negative tactics. We finished the game with 3 CBs. 2-0 down & still playing with 3 CBs is nonsense. Last season we were outplayed tactically by Airdrie & Raith, and knocked out of 3 cups by November. Plus many games you could count on one hand how many chances we created. Im not confident in Goodwin as manager.

Here's the thing, though, Scott, you still won the league so in reality the tactics weren't that naive. Also, Falkirk had their "Invincibles" season too and only lost in cup games and it was Dundee United who were responsible for one of those defeats. What I've noticed about United v Falkirk games is that they always go one of two way, either United grab the game by the scruff of the neck and win or it's Falkirk who do so, there never seems to be any middle ground between the teams. It's a poor start to the League Cup campaign, but it can still be salvaged.
I disagree with a lot of people are saying. A big improvement tonight the new players were very good. Im positive things are better this season. So get behind the team guys early days.
Pretty woeful . A new group that's total shite like saying the team don't know each other said recruited well and the team was in a good place now back tracking now . I really hope we are ready for Dundee but can't see it 😥He is just going over pretty much the same he said last year . Very frustrating to hear him at times.
