Hello, and welcome! My name is Benn, and I'm here to help you let go of the day and ease into a restful slumber.
In the next short while, I’ll guide you to calm your mind, relax your body, and release the day’s stresses. Allow yourself to drift into sleep whenever you feel ready.
To Begin:
Get Comfortable: Make any adjustments needed for maximum comfort. Ensure you're well-supported with cushions or blankets and that all end-of-day tasks are complete.
Start the Video: Close your eyes when you feel ready. Let your mind sync with your body, bringing yourself fully into the present moment.
As We Proceed:
It's natural for your mind to remain active, replaying the day or worrying about tomorrow. For now, let go of these thoughts and focus on the present.
Listen to the soothing sounds without labelling them. Simply be in the moment, taking a few deep breaths to ground yourself.
If Your Mind Wanders:
It’s completely normal for thoughts to drift. Gently guide your attention back to your anchor: your breath.
If you feel overwhelmed, reconnect with your body, your breath, and the calming sounds of this video.
Visualization Exercise:
Take a few deep breaths-in through your nose and out through your mouth. With each breath, feel your body expand and then relax.
Imagine a small ball of light floating above you. With each inhale, draw in the light, letting it fill your body with calmness. With each exhale, surrender further into relaxation.
