HI Nina I hear you sister! I truly believe you and I are kindred spirits. I gave up my 40 yr career as a nurse . I retired in 2016 but continued to work on a casual basis in the intensive care. I stopped during the pandemic because I'm on immunosuppressive meds for my arthritis. I decided after much soul searching to give it up entirely. I still struggle sometimes with this decision because I have always identified myself as "nurse". I miss the people I worked with and the privilege of taking care of people when they needed help. I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of two , so I am enjoying time with my family. I love working in the garden , making jewelry and decorating for the seasons and holidays. I too have a lot going on in my life right now & the depression that invades my life is sometimes so overwhelming & sometimes downright crippling. Love the centerpieces. Natural and simplistic. Oh Nina I understand how you feel. The pandemic lockdown affected me so much. I (kind of)have become a recluse. Then throw menopause on top of that! The weight gain, fatigue and moodiness! It is very hard to deal with. Life in general is hard at times without all the added burden. Take care and know we understand and will be here whenever you post a video. ❤

Hi Nina! The grain is called wheat here and I wish the farm field across the road from me had planted it so I could have made the centerpiece too but unfortunately they planted corn this year. I do love the look of it for fall and it looks really easy to make. Sorry you're feeling a bit out of sorts lately. I totally get it though. We all have ups and downs in life and it's good to listen to what your body is telling you so when you feel like making a video know that I will always enjoy watching but if not that's ok too. Hi Nena! I was happy to see your video today! We call the grain wheat here. We have lots of it too. I brought some in to decorate with too. Same thing here sunflowers and wheat. The centerpieces are beautiful! You are so creative! Do not worry about making videos. We who love you will be waiting. We just want you to be happy and healthy. So no stress on yourself please! Oh Nina I love the scenery you opened with and closed with. I always love the music you play can you tell me the music so I can buy it maybe on a CD. I love love love Sunflowers. Your centerpieces are so beautiful but then they always are. Maybe if you do decide to go back to work at some point that's something you can do, get a job in a flower shop part time making beautiful arrangements. You're so talented and it comes so natural to you. I'm going to see if I can find Wheat (Grain) like you used to make an arrangement but I have lung problems so I'll try to find fake Wheat.
