My name is Nina and I am a Norwegian woman in my golden years………..at least that's what I've heard they've called the 50's.
On this channel I will talk about home decor, cake decor, DIY's and my life in the countryside just outside Oslo, the capito of Norway. I am a sosial worker and a high School teacher. "Why Grandma Glitter?" you ask. I am a grandma to a beautyful boy and love glitter, so much that my husband says that you can sprinkel glitter on anything and I will buy it. If you loose me in a mall, just look for a spot where something sparkles and you will find me.

Hi Nina I am so glad to see you back . I had a laugh when you answered my question 😂 that started with happy new year. I totally get the menopause drama as I have had the same issues. I'm turning 65 on the 23rd and I'm thinking I'm not ready to be a senior citizen 😅. I love your water colour paintings. I've got the paper and brushes and am now looking for some paint. I'm keeping very busy with my garden and babysitting our 1yr old grandson. He's so funny and keeps us entertained. I'm looking forward to seeing your next video and hope you are feeling well. Yes, he is......for some. In Norway Christianity is the lagest religion. It used to be our state religion. Now State and Chorch has splitt and we have many imigrants that have other religions. Our national hollidays are the Christians, so many non-Christian selebrate too and for them it is more of an selebration of winter and tradition I think. That is ok too. My horses are retired so I am not so active any longer. They just cost money and a lot of work, but I love having them. We have desided that when the black and white one goes, we are done with horses, but I do not know how I will handel a empty barn. Beautiful. I agree about the size of a home. We raised 5 kids in 1300 square feet. By American standards that is small. We prefer the word “cozy”. You do a great job. Our snow in the southern part of Alaska is gone except up on the mountains. Looks like you still have a lot. I love your fridge.
Hi Sandra <3 Thank you so much. Our is about 1100 with the room upstairs. That is a little bit below Norwegian Standard too. We have had a lot of snow and it has taken almost all of the snow, but it can come back so we are not out of the woods yet. I want real spring.
