So sad and heart wrenching for your Mom. My sweet Billy had pancreatitis and eventually developed more serious complications from it, we had to have him put down. He was 12 and my heart still aches after 12 years. Maybe one day I’ll have another doggie. You have certainly have been in a whirlwind. Prayers for Mom and your family.

Awe, bless her heart. It hurts so bad to lose a furbaby, they become like a child to us. I've experienced this, mine was 10 also when I lost her. My mom and step-dad lost their's in July, 14 yrs old, it was hard on them too, my mom broke down on me one day squalling, said she never knew how bad it would hurt to lose him, he was like their child. I will say a prayer for your mom. I know she was her companion. Breaks my heart 😭. In time she'll feel better.
