When all your pumpkins rot mash them in your yard before the first frost! I told Stefanie at Blooming Ivy Lane the same thing. Last year I smashed my pumpkins in my garden in the front yard with my son and this year. We have beautiful vines with giant leaves and pumpkins growing as ground coverage. They are so pretty, so much fun and my kids love it. This year we bought an extra large variety and amount of gourds and pumpkins so we can do the same thing.

Great idea!! I actually plan on feeding them to my chickens BUT maybe that’ll still end up leaving some behind and leading to a little pumpkin patch 😋

Love, love your natural fall decorating.!! You prove that nothing looks more beautiful than bringing nature indoors to decorate. My husband and I just gathered acorns , bittersweet, and pine cones here on our east coast island to decorate with. Love your idea of opening up and displaying a cookbook with a seasonal recipe!- can I ask where you got your pretty wood cookbook holder? Love you guys! Happy autumn! God bless❤

The scent label says Holiday lol I need to order new scents if you have any suggestions. Mom got it from a friend for her birthday and we haven't tests any scents other than what came with the gift but we've been loving it so far!

Walmart has great deals on pumpkins and they are beautiful. Trader Joe’s has great deals on pumpkins. I know what you mean wanting to support small business but I’m not paying 20 dollars for a pumpkin. Sorry I won’t.
