Imo, it should be deeper or to the point where it’s even voiced by a man. As a biological female who has a really naturally deep voice (I don’t mind it; just annoying nobody else that’s biologically female seems to have a voice as deep as mine) I always get mistaken for that random Kevin in class if the teacher has his back turned and I was talking to him. I don’t mind this, but again, I wish there’s another biological female that could have a naturally deep voice like mine so I do wish Hot Pants has a deeper voice.

I think in the translation of the manga I was using, it said that she uses male dialects (or the closest thing to that in Japanese) so that’s why they thought Hotpants was a guy before

I thought Hot Pants disguised as a guy because in part 7, the time period had ongoing women's sufferage if the Araki is following correct historical events in US, as he did with the transcontinental railroad, Indians, and the borders of the country.
