I wonder if, and how many times they had to stop and say to the members of the public, "It's okay, he's still alive. We're just filming a music video,"
Emberlee Messer lmfao those people would have been so shocked imagine how many times they had to stop filming to explain and pete had to come alive and be like “HEY”
Theory: Patrick left his fedora at the studio and Pete grabbed it and left. Patrick remembered his fedora and went back to the studio. Obviously it wasn’t there. Andy, who was still at the studio packing up, told Patrick Pete took it. Driving home in anger, Patrick remembered that Pete was going to the beach in a few days, so Patrick stayed up all night coming up with a plan to kill Pete and get his fedora. He was going to poison Pete, he would give a poisonous drink to Pete as a gift! But wait. Patrick didn’t want the blood on his hands. He got an idea! He will tell Brendon and Spencer to meet him and Pete at the beach and bail last minute knowing only Spencer and Brendon would find Pete and they were dumb enough to take his body and do stupid stuff with it. The plan was set! Everything worked out perfectly except, Patrick was so caught up in killing Pete, he forgot about his fedora! He went to the beach where Pete was before and after a lot of searching found Pete... without his fedora. Outraged, he called the police on Spencer and Brendon and got his fedora back! The end
THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO WILLLLLLLDDDDDD! I saw house of gold before I knew Twenty Øne Piløts and that was kind of freaky but I can't imagine what this must have been like
The fact that A) Pete is actually conscious during all this and B) Brendon referred to Spencer and himself as "little people" makes this video so much more enjoyable.
To those who don't know this is a remake of an 80s movie called "Weekend at Berneys" and the guys find Berney dead but carry him around so they can party and have fun. That's why in the beginning Spencer and Brendon are talking about what their favorite 80s movie was. (I'm so happy this was made!) :D
Olly I see all these comments about him moving all the way through, but nobody's gunna talk about the fact that at the end beach scene he legit sits up before falling down
Currently imagining myself casually driving around town one day when I suddenly see Spencer and Brendon dragging Pete's corpse around to become cool and gain Twitter followers. But alas, I live in boring old Illinois where the only "cool" things are corn and Chicago, neither of which I'm fond of
+IronicallyEmma Whaaa but Chicago is the heart of Fall Out Boy! It's the city behind Patrick's solo single and it's where they have all their memories from starting and it's where they lived most of their lives and it's where they perform their most intimate shows! Also The Blues Brothers hello!! Please don't underappreciate Illinois, especially not Chicago!
It could be 20 and I will still say too soon 😅 I guess unless you can see them in public talking again. After 11 years do we get them to acknowledge each other's existence. Not to mention cricket and clover is still not released and won't see the light of day so yes, too soon
You're walking downtown, when suddenly, you see it. Brendon Urie's head pops out of a car roof. You can't believe your eyes, when suddenly, a deceased Pete Wentz also pops up. That's when you realize that you probably should have just stayed home today.
Ok so I have no idea how I had never heard this song before so I've always thought the "I will never end up like him... etc" was just from What a Catch, Donnie and now I'm so confused
This is a music video??? I DIDN'T KNOW WHEN I FIRST WATCHED IT! I THPUGHT THEY WERE FOOLING AROUND AND STUFD, BUT IT IS AN ACTUAL MUSIC VIDEO, THEY MADE MONEY WITH, WHAT THE ACTUAL FUDGE IS WRONG WITH EVERYTHING ON THIS PLANET!
