Fall River may be the worse its ever been but a lot of the areas shown here arent real hoods. People in those areas may think they are hoodlike, but try Boston, The Bronx, Detroit. They put this video to shame by a mile!
I f*ckin miss Fall River and New Bedford…I moved to Ohio a couple years ago and I swear I miss my home …this makes me reminisce This video drives by my old home…damn I miss you Massachusetts 🙌🏼❤️
How is it during the month of February, March and April...going up for work and I never drove in heavy snow being that I live down south...Is it heavy snow during those months
@@fritztopher it’s definitely cheaper than Mass….put it this way, what we are paying in rent for a house in Ohio in a nice neighborhood is what we were paying to live in the hood in New Bedford. We weren’t in that bad of an area in Fall River
thats because you never left it. fr is dirty chocolate city, even the glacier gliders are sh-- stains... buncha junkies and backstabbing scum. u got a cigarette?
Im from Fah Rivah n aint nun this hoods. 3rd 4th n 5th corky row hood. Alao Flint...MG...Those the small hoods in Fall Riv. This all safe. New B way worse. Stay out the actual hoods in FR N U got a great city.
My hometown right hea! You should be playing 97.9 in the background. (I think that's the Portuguese station!) I lived in Maplewood area - specifically, near Dave's beach
@@brookeamberkful That would have been the perfect place for it. Right off rt24. No traffic through the city. But hey this is the Riv. We knew it wasn't going to happen.
Valid, yet (nearly) the entire city now qualifies as ‘hood,’ if you look around the country. Myopic views are our greatest downfall. This barely working class city needs to unite. Folks are riding the struggle bus, yet are still so classist. Everyone scrambling for crumbs, shitting on the least among us so we can feel better about our crumb, meanwhile we’re ultimately a paycheck or 2 apart. Stop it. Capitalism has destroyed a once thriving city. Class unity is the only way to rebuild & begin to thrive, again. Organize. Unionize. Build community. Racism & xenophobia are tools of the 1%, to keep us divided. You have more in common with your new neighbor (near & far) than you EVER will with Jeff Bezos. Class solidarity builds an equitable community & future.
@@madonna816 Being from Fall River let me say I was with you up until the Capitalism stuff. Capitalism is what built this city, the "Mill City". We were the #1 producer of fabric at one time. We were one of the richest cities in the area except for the #1 producer of whale oil, New Bedford. Hard working people immigrated to this city and made it what it was. The Government programs like welfare and then drug addiction is what brought the Riv down to where it is. Many, not all, of these immigrants grandchildren and great grandchildren don't want to work and rather use government assistance. Then add up the free money and time their hands and there is the answer. Still we are some of the most resilient people around, and we still will bend over backwards to help our people no bad how bad WE got it. (Citizens not government.) That's what Fall River should be remembered for....
@@jsmctch you literally just eulogized capitalism AND Fall River, all in an effort to defend a clearly failed economic system. Shit breaks. Come to grips with the reality of what is & stop dwelling on what was.
@@madonna816 Awe, that's cute. I see what you tried to do there. Bless your heart. Capitalism works like physical exercise, you have to participate in order to get results. I guess you didn't read the "they don't want to work" part. That's OK. You can go back and tell your liberal indoctrinator, I mean your teacher that you tried though.
sad then. At one time like during the Borden murder era it was high society area at least some parts. I was just through there many years ago when really little when my family Lived in Quincy Mass my father was in Marines during Vietnam we lived on base housing in Quincy in the mid 70s.
It’s showing the best part of Fall River. Plus looking at it can’t tell you if it’s hood. There are lots of drugs and crime problems that people don’t care or know about
