Yes, it is a microphone. I have a student who is completely deaf in one ear and partially deaf in the other. At my school in Florida, all teachers had to wear them.

yes, i think so to! in the school that i went to in Germany, the speakers didn't even work in many classrooms and the bell often didn't ring, either!

Love SD, that's my dream state to live, specifically Rapid City side. It was between there and Florida when my husband put in a request to change duty stations. But we got Florida and have been here for three years. Enjoy South Dakota!
