From what I see: Andrea lived her life with purpose. She was an exceptional woman, wife, mom, teacher, healer, homemaker, entrepreneur, you name it! Something tells me she fulfilled her purpose in her short life... Not saying her sudden death isn't heartbreaking, she just really knew how to live in the moment, and got stuff done. May she RIP 💖. Her children will always be protected and guided by her legacy. God bless them all!
Oh how I miss this precious lady’s videos💔 She was such a special person , her calming voice and sweet personality brought such comfort to my hard life. She even brought relief from my chronic pain and ptsd for a moment. Her wisdom and gentleness was like a warm hug from a loving mother❤️ Ill never forget you Andrea , I hope you are blessed beyond imagination in the arms of our father🥰

You remind me so much of my mom. Maybe that is why I have become such a faithful follower of you. I live 2.5 hours away from my family now and can only visit once a month. It is so obvious that you love your kids when you remember all the little things that each individual child likes.
Just a thought, if the puffy paint doesn't work for some clothing items, you could always do a few stitches of some colored thread to identify items. Then, with something like boots, you could cut the threads and place new ones when needed. Also, I'm really glad to see you let Eden have the Hello Kitty shirt. :)
Andrea I know you are probably sick of hearing how much I love you and your family, but with each video you just blow my mind on how organized you are. Eden is such a sweet girl, I love all your children but loved this video, but then again I say that about all your videos.❤️😊🙏🏽

I love how these kids get to have their own opinion and their parents always acknowledge each one as an individual. I am so sorry about the loss of Andrea, she was one in a billion and clearly will be missed. I am in awe at how well she knew every person in her life, especially her kids and accepted them for who they are. She always was so thoughtful at what “he/she likes”❤️ So much to be learned from her and thanks to these videos she will continue to teach. I’m not sure how this got recommended but I have loved watching these videos.
We miss you, dear Andrea, and everything you did and shared with all of us. How in the world did you get everything done and made like you did? Your love of family is so evident! You must have never slept because I still can’t see how you got everything done with the love you’ve shown. Those children were so blessed and so are you. We miss you, dear Wonder Woman!
The children's place has jeans year round for $7.99 and they are great quality. They have sizes up to 20 I think. It's the only place I buy my 4 boys jeans from. Just a suggestion:)
My daughters have the same black boots. My 6 yr old loves them. The brown shoes you bought for Sophia, y 3 yr old has them as well. LOL. Watching you shop has helped me, I saw some things I'd like to get for my girls. I miss snow but I do not miss all that goes with the cold weather. LOL Sweatshirts are just fine here in the Bay area for the cold nights. Oh, all the gloves and boots and coats we used to buy! I am thankful we do not need to buy all that anymore. LOL. Watching your videos makes me feel nostalgic my mom had many children and she’d always take me on special trips like this shopping. She’s not around anymore so thankyou for including us in these videos makes me feel like I’m with my mom again!
This is so cool, my family consists of me and my 2 year old son, so clothes shopping is a breeze. Bless you with all this organization, I don't think I could ever be that organized!

So impressive to see you plan and buy all these lovely clothes!! I love that you mixed it up a little for the girls but still kept to colour! You choose some pretty little dresses. I liked your new boots too, I much prefer flat shoes and boots because they just feel so comfy. I can't walk in heels anymore but that's fine with me. You never cease to amaze me Andrea, you have everything covered at all times. I love being organised and value it in others, it makes for a smoother life! The children all packed their drawers so carefully right down to little Solomon. Still really enjoying each and every vlog. I subscribed to Tom's channel recently and my husband was sat beside me when I watched my first video. He was in agreement with a lot of what Tom said and told me "Finally a RU-vid vlogger that talks sense!" It was really nice to hear Tom talking because in family vlogs he might be out at work or just generally busy. I'm definitely a happy subscriber thanks for sharing Andrea. That was a gorge haul! I feel fat and full after that. What a blast! Eden has all the earmarks of a fashionista, but she was being so sweet about what you want. I like that kid. My OCD would never let me do it like that. Gotta try it on, look at two or three stores, think about it, take a photo from the front and the back and study it, compare the items and prices on line..........hahahha! I loved this video. xoj

You are such an inspiration. I need to start doing this with my kids and myself soon. I think color coding each kids is perfect. I only have four kids, three of which are in my custody. I think once my youngest is one I'll start shopping like this since they grow so quickly the first year. You definitely make me want to be a better mother.

in total wow, you do amazing you are so well organised and the children just put away their laundry with out a protest, my 2 grandchildren live with me now as my daughter passed away suddenly in 2015, and they complain all the time but they still have to do it lol.
Eden is such a good helper. I was interested to see her sense of style come out even within the family guides. Are you able to hand very much down or do the kids wear them out first? You are an awesome mom. I had two sons and was not nearly as organized!
Susan Robinson she talked about this is the video where she explained the clothing shopping chart. The day to day clothes they generally wear until they're worn out and things like snow gear and dressy clothes that are more limited usage get handed down as much as possible. That's why she talked about needing to adjust the budget because they had to buy new jackets this year.

Our kids are color coded for the calendar! We have older children with work schedules and kids with lots of medical appointments, so I can see at a glance if it is a "Rainbow Day" lol

We usually wait to buy coats until the weekend after thanksgiving (NOT black friday). We found that most of the clothes sales continue on at Wal-Mart through that weekend. We have lucked out a time or two on $5 per pair snow boots, and $10 per jacket (family of 7 here). We have also found consignment stores where we can take our gently loved clothes, and get store credit to re-shop there. Your family is beautiful!! Just found your vids tonight... and totally enjoying them!
Eden's fashion sense is so cute. She is quite a sparkly gal. :-) Some of those socks could be used for dusting to keep them out of the landfill. That Sully- I love his little personality. I also love how the kids are part of the process of sorting, tossing, and organizing their clothes. I can't wait for the Halloween video!
Oh, I just thought about something. I know I've read or heard you say you have long lists for upcoming videos but perhaps you can work this in rather than a stand alone video, if you care to share- how you and Tom decided on each child's name.
I'm re watching old vlogs and from watching your new ones I now understand why Judah wanted to keep his old shoes for "work shoes".. that kid works harder than most kids his age!
I'm not looking forward to the day we have an empty nest. It is very comforting to look forward to grandkids. Tom and I enjoy dreaming about our future lives as grandparents!

It's been nice for Tom, too. When the older boys were little, we went swimming once and he had to help them all in the boys' dressing room. He was so thankful for the color-coding system because he didn't have to figure out who needed to wear what.
The childrens place has great deals on jean's several times a year. Not sure if that is the same time as your bi annual clothing shopping but definitely check them out online. I believe they were 6.99 a pair. . . Walmart seemed little expensive. Thank you for sharing your shopping trip!
I don't know if you have an old navy near you, but next shopping trip you may look there! They have nice clothes and usually lots of color options! You could also look online! Just so you know their clothes run close to size! And their sales are amazing! check out black Friday sales too! they have awesome black Friday sales!!!
I had the same dresser that you have in your room. It is little curvy and brown. My grandma gave me mine, but she had painted mine a true blue. It was my favorite and it moved many places with me, but after two kids it didn't make the move to our current town. I do miss it and maybe wish I had reconsidered. Fun to see your process. Eden is such dear girl!
My grandparents gave me my dresser, too! When I was 16 they were moving and I was spending a week helping them pack. I found it out in the barn; it was worn and had a split leg. I asked if I could have it, but Grandpa wasn't too sure it could be fixed. Several months after their move, here they came one day with the dresser all repaired and refinished! My grandpa was an amazing wood worker and he was very special to me. When he died 7 years ago, I realized for the first time that there wasn't a single room in our house that didn't have his handiwork. Even out in our yard there were traces of him all over. I'm one of 20+ grandchildren, so he was a busy man!
I think I was about 15 or 16 too. How special. It is so nice to have a piece of the special people that leave us here. I have a special tea cup from a dear Christian/church friend. She was like a grandma/aunt to me. Though I took her for granted because she was so quiet and reserved. (the German in her) When she passed I instantly felt more exposed, because she had always prayed for me before I was born. She was that person who faithfully prayed for everyone. And when she left here I could feel that gap between me and the world. But when I drink from her tea cup, I think of the warmth God brought to me through her.
Someone probably already put this but I just bought jeans for my kids at The Children's Place today for 7.99 without a coupon. Usually there is a free shipping code online as well. That is the only kind I have bought now for 7 years. They hold up great and have adjustable waist. I never spend more than 9 bucks a pair. Plus I think they have up to size 14 or 16 :) Not really my business, but I just thought I would pass that tidbit along. I LOVE your videos! They are so calming and inspiring!!
I really used to like children's place until recently. My boys will rip holes in their jeans in 2 months. I love the jeans from Costco for my boys, they seem to really hold up.
My daughter has been bugging me for a pair of black boots. She has been a runner kid up until she turned 7 and then she started to like the more girly stuff. I loved Watching her pick her things out. You are a good mommy❤

I think this was the 1st video of yours that i ever saw. It was either this or the boys room tour. I cant believe how big the kids got or rather how small some of them used to be.
I'm in awe of your organization. I have six kiddos and clothing is the bane of my existence. I dislike so much washing, folding, putting away, buying etc that goes along with it, especially if it requires me taking everyone with me (cause lets face it six young children at a store is HARD). However, I'm finding new joy in it now that my oldest is old enough to go with me. She is 9 now and has her own idea of what everyone would like and wear so now I have a shopping buddy. Its becoming out mommy/daughter time. Right now I'm struggling with the constant growing out of clothing so I'm shopping as its needed. Hopefully I can get organized enough that I can start anticipating our needs ahead of time so I can be proactive instead of reactive. BTW it funny you color coordinate your children. My oldest would love that. If I ask her to pull out outfits for everyone they have to color coordinate or she feels bad someone is left out. Even if I have color coordinate with them. I recently bought a lavender sweater so I could coordinate with the rest of their outfits that are her favorites for field trips. Shes my little fashion person, she just loves clothing/shoes/accessories.
I can so relate! When I had 4 boys I started buying things to coordinate with them since they were always matching. Then Tom started to feel left out and asked me to make sure he had shirts to match. The rest is history!
Eden's got such pretty skin and eyes, what a beautiful young lady! She's always so quiet, and well behaved. I love how the Mills kids aren't grabby and throwing tantrums in public and are so polite.
Can always tell a true mother at heart, she straightens up the stack of shirts on the display when she messes it up. Andrea has the patience of a saint, and her organizational skills rival those of Fortune 500 CEO's! And big brother jumping in to soften the blow to poor Solomon about donating undies, unasked, hits me right in the heart, I know its "just" undies, but the special printed ones can really be special to a little one, very touching!
