It's an honour that I have 3 photo books given by my uncle. He's a constable in 9th IR (B). He's alive today and his living with his wife and family members. He also told me stories about the incident he experienced while he was in Chattisgarh. I can see many familiar faces in the video as I've seen from the photo books which was given to me. Salute to the martyrs who have lost their lives.

I was young when i heard this news ,i didn't know what was the issue,i was just excited that the chopper gonna come in chumu and im gonna see it finally. Now after 17 years im a soldier in army n now i can feel tge zeal for all the bravery soldiers.

Brother,the Central Govt has an enormous amount of faith/confidence on the bravery and courage of the Naga soldiers and policemen and hence the GoI always rely on them for executing any difficult and daring task in hand.
Given the fact about how dangerous and unpredictable the area of operations for these brave IRB Jawans who were carrying out their operations for more than 2 years,I must say that 20 KIA wasn't that much, which goes on to show that our 9th IR Jawans were brave,well trained and professional soldiers who executed their job way beyond and above their call of duty with excellent and extreme gallantry.. I was just a kid back then when they were deployed in Chattisgarh but I clearly remember that two of those jawans KIA were from our Village..
My condolences to all the naga brothers who died following the orders of the Indian government. Nagas have no business to be fighting the communists on behalf of the Indian government. The Naxalites or maoist movement is against the oppression of the poor and the weak by the government. Nagas know very well how they suffered under the AFPSA. Do not sell your conscience for your 30 thousand per month salary. Naxals fight because have been forced to, you fight because you get salary.
