Adagio in C Major - Fallen Stars
When I originally arranged this, a few months ago now, I had heard a piece called Op. 11, Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber. I also recently watched a silly video called Mr. Beast Blinds 1,000 People, which has a soundtrack inspired by the piece mentioned earlier.
I discovered I liked both works and set out to create a piece inspired by Barber's work; however, it didn't take too long before the piece made it very clear to me that it was its own work. I ended up letting the piece write itself, simply letting feeling take it where it felt it should go, and this was the result.
I am very happy with how it turned out.
