Originally, I was going to make an entire album of like 11 songs that this song was going to be apart of, but it ended up not working out. It was going to be the imagined soundtrack of a book I strongly enjoy called 'When Crickets Cry' but I was denied permission to use the name of the book in the title of the album, so I scrapped the rest of the song ideas. This song, however, is supposed to be set in a part of the start of the book where the main characters were rowing in a canoe on a lake.
