In my skydiving time i did 1200 jumps but stopped when I reached 67years old just as wingsuits came out. I am now 86 and too old but I would give anything to jump a wingsuit it's still on my bucket list was nice to see Tony Urigella on the video He made my first proper jumpsuit way back in the day. Blue Skys Mike
I don't know where you live but here in the U.K. we have what is called iFly..it's an indoor wingsuit tunnel...I saw my first wingsuit video and thought...man I have to do this, I'm booking my first session next week.. good luck in your search.
Finally seen the word "epic" used for something that ACTUALLY is epic. That's a ridiculously overused word, but for once someone used it in the proper context!
R.I.P Patrick De Gayardon, Alexander Polli, Dean Potter, Valery Rozov, Ludovic Woerth, Dan Vicary, and so many more. This sport remains for a few chosen ones... I just hope Loic Jean Albert, Jokke Sommer, Halvor Angvik, Fred Fugen, Vince Reffet, Espen Fadnes, Julian Boulle, JT Holmes and everyone who loves this sport will stay safe and grow old men and women :)
@@Ijumpandfly You know nothing about Russia, if you think that they drink more alcohol than Finland or Norway for example. And if you speak about alchohol or car accidents, you have to calculate how many people use cars, and how many wingsuits? Looks like you are a bit slow.
I wonder if in the event of an emergency a wingsuit diver could find a moving car to glide onto, I think falling off the roof of a car would be less dangerous than landing on the ground, right? Or am I wrong, if yes, why?
Same at 15k... think about it this way, next to absolute fear/death is euphoria. Jumping is stepping into the jaws of death but when you come out alive you truly are thankful for the smallest of things. I absolutely loved it. Made me cherish everything and everyone.
Simply beautiful and amazing. I wish I had the balls to do this! How they fly these things and not hit trees or mountains is incredible! Much respect!!
Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the best Wing suit Compilation I have ever seen. Wow to the tenth power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gedanken an Zeit und Raum, sind wie Klebstoff der mich an diese bindet. Wenn ich aber fliegen will, darf ich mich nicht an meine Gedanken binden.🙃 Tiefer Dank, für Falling Away🙏
GREAT video! Lots of RIP's in that sport. I flew hang gliders for 12 years before wing suiting was invented all over the West coast, Canada and Hawaii and have never been sorry. Then I got into racing airplanes and REALLY learned how to spend money.
@@erictalkington5674 I jumped as a US Army Ranger. I think my highest jump was 1000 feet from planes. Helicopters were lower because there is no prop blast from which to "recover". The only military guys jumping from high altitude are special forces (high altitude, low opening [HALO]). And yes, the chute deploys immediately via the static line. Typically "falling" for 7-8 seconds. The ground comes quickly.
Beautiful to watch and in my younger days I would have made this activity my number one goal. Too old now I just get millions of butterflies inmy tummy.
This is my dream, if they told me to paralyze a moment of your life for eternity, I would do it flying between the mountains ... greetings from VENEZUELA
New dream. I want to do a full 2 person circular rotation while looking at my sound mate wearing wing suits as we glide through the sky looking deep into each others eyes and a little smile forms between us.....
Nice to see at 0:55 that the pinnacle on top of the Endless Stairs to Zirak-Zigil has been rebuilt. Though, I don't like the kinda rocket look. I liked it as it was before G and the B had it out.
Exhilarating. Epic. Alex Honnold climbs the rock mountains without ropes these guys are jumping off of them. Both are epic and awesome to witness. Both sports are scary as he'll in my opinion. Much respect and admiration. My younger days was riding down mountains on a Trek Antelope. A short stint during a 1300 mile ride Indiana to Florida. Lost a good friend so I had to get away from it all. What a ride. Especially hairy on 2lane state routes in between cane fields. But riding on the trail in the Smokies was insane. Stupid and worthy every moment
Alex Honnold's unroped ascent of El Capitan is so far outside of anything that any human has ever achieved that there is nothing to compare it to. It makes wingsuit flying look as difficult and dangerous as sitting on a park bench. Unless you have climbed El Capitan you cannot possibly comprehend what he has done. He isn't human.
Вот, где начинается РЕАЛЬНАЯ ЖИЗНЬ! Всем "антисмертникам" реальное уважение и благодарность! Спасибо за видео высшего качества! Музыку подобрали тоже идеально,- благословляю вас!!! 🤝👍👍👍🤙🤙🤙👏
