Blue Skies, Jarno I carn't help but go back to the first Bridgy WS camp where you taught us all so much. It was one of the best times of my life. Thank You, and RIP
I remember my ex at the time asking me to supply the funds to fly out some hotshot from OS for said wingsuit camp. I was a bit hesitant at first but I’m glad for every second I spent flying with Jarno despite our personalities clashing. He’s absolutely why I’m still here watching all my old friends and associates drop like flies from the very things they taught me not to do. It’s just fucking sad. If they banned GoPros/cameras in BASE there would be FAR less fatalities.
What an amazing professional representation of flying at the highest level. Anyone would be lucky to utilize your expertise in technical skydiving, BASE jumping, and wingsuit flying. We're here, lucky to watch you do it.
Inspired flying, beautiful cinematography, flawless edit. Thank you Jarno for sharing your skills, passion, and love of this sport with us all. You will be so, so deeply missed. Fly free ❤
Rust in vrede Jarno. Veel genoten van jouw clips hier op YT, en wat jouw ome Bart trots op jou. Geef die ouwe een PITT, maar wees voorzichtig met Knuppel. 🙂
Last text message i got was a link to this on new years eve what a great guy, the best cameraman in the sky shame you never made it to Elsinore you will be greatly missed
So much respect for these guys and Jarno, for I know the risks of these jumps, adrenaline is a boost and you do what you practice. The feeling of freedom. Every jump can be the last one. Unfortunately it happened to you Jarno, lots of respect and rip.
Is there any info on what happened? The bfl is still blank. Idk… feel like there’s gotta be some explanation for how one of the best flyers in the world went in. Rest in peace
you know its not abnormal for people to "talk" to the dead, wishing them the best and "rest in peace" and all that jazz. its a little awkward/strange to see you responding with this level of confusion, i n comment section whos all doing it lol. unless its just trolling, in which case: nevermind, ignore me, proceed@@corbeau-_-
Is this flying, or [mostly] controlled falling? Looks like a helluva rush ... exactly the sort of thing i would have been up for when i was a lot younger than today. I'd love to see a video of how each flight ends because i suspect that's the tricky part ;)
No. He slammed into rocks during flight, several times. Either his equipment failed, or unexpected conditions, I suppose. Possibly a heart attack, or something like that.
With a death toll well over 400 and a 1:500 chance to die every time one jumps, this sport is not for the faint hearted. R.I.P. Jarno. Jenna, wish you all the best.
@Ronaldo Fenomeno Family I'm sure was well aware it was a possibility. He for sure knew it was a possibility. It was something worth dying for to him. You may find it to be a stupid choice, but making a comment like that after he's dead is just disrespectful
@@DokterHond it is very insensitve to talk like this about a man who just died. He had great achievements in the sport and was a talent. Jarno was very professional and smart. You don't understand why people base jump, ok but this is no place to share such thoughts. it just hurts the family members even more, when someone shares unnecessary comments diminishing the dead one and his lifework. Death is something to be expected in this sport, and everyone that jumps is very well aware of it, as well as the family members, but still hurts if it happens.
