It's just always such a pleasure to see the two of you. I guess you could compare a short vlog like this with saying hello to a treasured neighbor across the fence. Every video doesn't have to be an epic saga for us to enjoy your company. I wish Deb continued success with her treatment, and a positive outlook for the both of you. Always a joy to see you, don't be strangers!

Sorry to hear you injured your pint-lifting arm. I suggest several hours of training needed as soon as possible.

Something for Deb to look forward to in the future. My wife is now 15 years out of her treatment (chemical and radiation). I remember that she couldn't eat very much of anything but bland stuff at the time of her treatments. Anything spicy will likely be off the menu for quite some time. Today, however, My wife loves shellfish and fish a majority of the time, with less lean chicken or lean pork (in that order) with only the very rare treat of a tenderloin steak. In fact, she'll only eat tenderloin steaks if she has beef. Very little in the way of cruciferous vegetables, but pickles are a big hit. One thing you may need to prepare for when Deb is able - gluten can also cause issues. So you may need to alter your diet by using sourdough, or gluten minimalist breads like a croissant roll. She may also find starchy foods (pasta, potatoes) to not help. If you have a good foundational doctor/nutritionist as a resource at your treatment center, I'm sure you can ask for a low-FODMAP diet to help if you've not already have one on hand. Good to see you both coping -- even if you go swimming in your pants. =)

Be positive Deb, I was in hospital with Myasthenia Gravis which is a neurological disease, ie if you want to point at something your brain tells your arm to move however the brain signal doesn’t get to your muscle to move. The worst scenario your lungs are muscles and they may stop working, however I’m still here. Good luck.

Remember well the runny nose when I was going through treatments Deb. On the upside, when the hair grew back, I had no leg hairs! No more shaving (at least on my legs)!

I just this week bought a double-sided stainless steel french press coffee maker like you have, how cool! I didn't know you had one. I love mine. You are so smart! When I've trained new boaters (or "old" boaters who have asked for help/ideas on how to be better), one of the BIG things I tell people is to look around their marina and MEMORIZE where the ladders are so they can climb out of the water if/when they fall in. Most boaters I know (in 30+ years of boating) have fallen in, whether they like to admit it or not (me too, I've fallen in once accidentally). In fact, when I've been out on my boat and there is no place nearby to climb out of the water, I put a ladder out on the out-board side of my boat so I can climb out of the water if needed ... or so anyone else can too. I'm sure glad you got back on board, Mark. Good for you for helping that person. Both of you, Mark and Deb, are such nice people. In fact, two men I know who fell in off their boats, each of them had to take their clothes off in the water in order to lift themselves back into the boat (in one case) or back onto dry land (in the other case) because their clothes, full of water, were too heavy. In the end, once you (or I) get back out of the water ... have one of those great cups of coffee from that french press ... or have a lovely brew. 🙂 And look at that gorgeous sky behind you in this non-vlog. thank you. 🙂

I would have pressed the like button for this vlog lots of times if I was allowed to. I think it’s amazing given the circumstances that you are able to post at all. Deb I just had weekly taxol #19. Stage 3 triple negative. My 3rd time to have breast cancer. I’m 56. First diagnosed 12 years ago. Second a year later and now this one in august 2022. I love your “little videos” and believe we would be besties if we lived close. I live in Oklahoma USA. I started watching and then went to the beginning of the videos and this is where I am now. Btw your sniffles is exactly what I do constantly.. much love

Good to see Deb doing well. - You have now become a true boater now that you have fallen in, was always suspicious of you being fraudulent !! Usually on a canals the bank is the best escape, climbing back onto the boat in deep water deserves and extra bar on the medal ! Regardless of where you are living explaining what exciting things you have done under lockdown is somewhat difficult. - Everyone understands !

Oh and a lot of red leaf lettuce salads , and once in a while fish sandwiches,red leaf digests easy , but just keep eating,it’s really important, keep your sunny side up,hugs

Glad to see Debs looking great 👍🏻 when I was having the treatment ! I found that I couldn’t eat bland foodstuffs as it affected my tastebuds and I would feel sick, stick with curries and strong flavours you will get more enjoyment from them 🤗🙏🏻
