The last scene is indeed symbolizing Ronnie's fear that Willow might have inherited the genetic predisposition for drug addiction (Ronnie, his brother, his father and his mother were all drug addicts at one point). Ronnie said, he wasn't only taking about literal drugs (everybody's on drugs) but all the different things people are addicted to,: social media likes, work, sports, big buts, ... whatever. So Losing my Mind is about Ronnie and his dealings with becoming famous and falling into hardcore partying/drugs.. not wanting to change his ways because he was enjoying it. Losing my Life is about Ronnie realizing after he had his daughter that he had to change his life, that being around all that was a bad influence on her and would only get him into more trouble. Drugs is about killing off his old self to finally become the person/father he wants to be for his kid. Willow's role at the end was realizing that addiction in so many cases is genetic and that now he has to deal with the possibility that she may have inherited his addictive traits and will go down a bad path just like he did... if you listen carefully, the notes of the song at the very end is Losing My Mind coming back to signal the start of a new cycle... the cycle for his daughter.

Yay glad you guy's reacted to this one so quickly. This one is my fave of the 3. The part with his mom, made me cry when I first saw it. And his mom and him didn't have a close relationship while he was growing up. I love Ronnie soo much he's such a talented guy. You gotta check out more. Loved your reactions guy's.

Did you notice the hair changes throughout the trilogy. The blonde and black? That black crap going into his mouth in loosing my mind was the "drugs" and he was all floaty? Then he switches between the 2 in loosing my life with the internal conflict of himself and then it's just black in drugs meaning he's clean 👌

The American dream is a killing machine. The cycle of addiction is handed down each generation. His mom in the video i took as him breaking his cycle and his daughter (who's actually his daughter such a beautiful kid)was the beginning of his new chapter of protecting her from what's to come.
