I love that Corey is s secret feature. He loved the song and has many things in common with Ronnie (shitty mother, f*** up childhood, former addict, mental health problems, etc). He did the feature for free. Last week he joined Falling in Reverse on stage for it, which is great for Ronnie and it's also remarkable, because Corey cancelled a lot of shows during the last months because of a mental health crisis and this was his first public appearance since he announced that he needed a break.

The ending was pretty much his deepest fear - addiction is hereditary, & he's afraid that he's passed that gene on to his daughter. That's why he's tries to be a part of her life as much as possible, so she doesn't go down that path herself.

This was a perfect reaction to this song. Very great analysis. I'm a more recent falling in reverse fan, about a year ago I fell down the rabbit hole. Curious to send you on another tangent, try this song. It may pull on your heart strings but man the message and lyrics are amazing. The song is Fade In/Fade Out from Nothing More. They are one of mine and my wife's favorite bands. Every song from them are bangers. You've gained a new subscriber my friend. Keep up the good work

Just a little easter egg to check out. Look at the number on the jet in Watch the World burn... I don't always catch all of the easter eggs they put in their video but it's fun when you can catch 'em. Great reactions to the Trilogy (that was Corey Taylor too in the video). You break things down in a very personal and meaningful level that I truly appreciate.

Love that you did the trilogy! Meaningful reactions, all of them. Along a similar vein to this one (pun intended?) - "Noise" by Nightwish, official video not live. So many see it, so many feel it - why can we not do something about it? Control - system tells you you "Need" it?

“Accept the pain just to feel again” is in reference to the numbing you go through either while in active addiction to drugs (like heroin) or whatever other escape techniques you may have. However opiates are very, very bad for blocking everything good and bad. So you lack all feeling at all really. He’s saying you have to accept the feeling of pain that you’re trying to squash, just to feel anything at all. I’ve been there before and knew exactly what he meant when he said it. On drugs, as long as it’s in your system, your mood is regulated sort of, and your feelings are flatlined.

@@SaeedReacts. I suppose it depends on your level of anxiety and how badly it may be hampering you. If you can’t function as a normal adult, then maybe numbing while learning new behaviors isn’t a bad idea. It’s sort of like an anesthetic for surgery. Self-medicating, while I appeciaye for the semblance of freedom of choice, is not advisable long-term. Personally, I had a lot of shit happen to me between the age of 10 and 20, including me dying once, mom leaving, family dying, friends coming close to it, being arrested, getting a full scholarship to Unicersity, going to a different university and dropping out. Like Ronnie, having my first child stabilized my life a lot and I now have three college degrees but I still get stuck in this self-destructive loop. That is why I listen to Ronnie’s music. It seems to help me process my feelings without feeling shame, for lack of a better term.

So now you’ve done all the modern “we don’t make albums anymore” falling in reverse. Time to go back on a trip now bro. You want to try and do these next as they are the usual step after the trilogy and newer stuff: I’m not a vampire (2011) I’m not a vampire revamped (2021) The drug in me is you (2011) The drug in me is reimagined (2021) You wanna listen to those originals and remakes back to back on one video (2 videos total) Then ya gotta do alone at some point But then the world is your oyster maybe go back through the ones that have videos on the label channel then venture off into the albums. You’ll be playing all of these in the car in a few weeks on a playlist wondering how that happened haha
