the song has identical lyrics to the song "I'm Not a Vampire" which was releases a decade ago on their debut album, which is why some lyrics can sound kinda cringy but Ronnie wanted to keep the lyrics the same
Yes, and the original song is about addiction so I really like the line of:" I feel like a woman that is pregnant cause I am always throwing up ". It's just not fitting for the revamped version.
Falling in reverse rabbit hole. -Popular monster -The trilogy 1-losing my mind, 2 losing my life, 3 Drugs The drug in me is you (original), with the drug in me is Reimagined It’s a wild ride guys!
Do it in another order though, to build up to the greatest one(s). So start with trilogy, then drug in me (reimagined), then popular monster. Many of his older songs are cool and great too, but nothing beats the last year or two for FiR with Popular Monster, Reimagined and Revamped being on a completely next level.
So frustrating when people do this reaction but have never seen the original!😭😭 You cannot truly appreciate how incredible this is without seeing the amount of growth!
Please do the old version of this song as you will see how much they have changed it. The video is epic and you should look into this band as he can do all different styles !!!!
Second this! Ronnie gets so much hate but if you took the time to watch some of his streams or whatever. You can see he is such a genuine nice guy who loves his fans and has a big heart.
Ronnie is one of the kindest most generous people there arw in this world today. The things hes done for his fans, people in need, children with terminal illness, homless people amd during this shutdown ronnie has helped keep alot of bands suffering ad a result of the lockdowns from going bankrupt. He like most humans have made mistakes throughout his life what makes him special is he was able to admit his mistakes and grow to be a better person as a result.
I don’t know much about the band but someone commented about ‘Popular Monster’ ages ago on another video which I checked out and...it’s an epic song which I think you guys will like! Same impressive cinematography but a bit of a faster pace!
As an on and off again fan of Ronnie's work since he was in Escape the Fate, I understand the hesitance. Tbf, Ronnie is aware of his issues, and a lot of his newer music is about his struggles to change and become a better person. I recommend giving some of his newer music a listen. React to Popular Monster, for sure.
The lyrics are indeed from the old song which is alot more goofy. I heard Ronnie on one of his streams saying he knows they are a bit "cringy" at times. But a great reaction, greetings from Iceland
To each his own...but I'm glad I don't judge who I listen to based on other people's opinions. I discovered FIR ..Ronniie Radke about 2 years ago..and I'm so happy I did...ive been listening to the older stuff...the emo stuff...the ballads...even the rap stuff...and I don't even really like rap..but he impresses me on how he has just gotten better.more mature ..diverse...and brave with experimenting with different genres and making his own style..i find that not only is he super talented. This man can sing with a vocal range that is unbelievable...scream growl...and rap...He has raw pure passion in his music and that is the reason I love his music...he is real and not some industry yes boy...not fake woke like a lot of other celebs out there....he has NEVER blamed anyone for his past mistakes...Ronnie will be the first one to say he is not perfect but trying everyday to be a better man...And I applaud him for that...it is so unique and refreshing in this age of NOT MY FAULT culture... personally think that says a lot about this man...but that's just my take and what I think of him....some of these other artists seems to me to be ...well jealous..because even though Ronnie is not in the IN crowd...His fans are loyal and supportive love him..and oh yeah his latest releases have had phenomenal success....someone who is so unpopular with the fake wannabes has undeniably showcased his talent and there is no way they can take that from him...hate him if they want to...He is killing the game.....He has come a long way and paid for his mistakes...Thank God...he is himself and knows and admits he isn't perfect..no one is....but he isn't a monster either...these cancel culture CELEB vultures are the true toxic ones...hypocrites...crapping on Ronnie when they've done some shady shit that they won't own up to...and yes he kept the lines true in this revamped version..because it's an old song..that he redo ..so to keep it legit he kept some of the.lines that probably don't fit for this...but if anyone can pull it off it's Ronnie Radke..but you guys I respect for being honest and giving an honest reaction.
This song was about an addict who was dealing with his problems and they switched it to him getting with another addict and them trying to save each other, but dragging each other back into it and their own demise being from having each other, but sticking with each other. That's my take at least.
Y'all really needed to watch the original version from 2011 before watching this one. A whole lot of things would have made a lot more sense and made this version much more impressive (aka keeping the lyrics 100% the same but completely redoing how the song sounds, hence why a few lines sound comical but thats how the original version was)
This is my first time watching you guys. I think you did a great job reacting too the song. Ronnie really made a Master piece here. Give him another look. I think you will like the guy he is today. You guys will at least like his music . ☮️🎶💗✌️🤟
Would love to see you react to the trilogy they did. Really shows Ronnie's talent. 1. Losing my life 2. Losing my mind 3. Drugs All the videos are linked and there's a suprise cameo in drugs. Then after watch popular monster. Honestly I wasn't that much of a fan until the newer stuff. Now I'm obsessed
I know Falling In Reverse is not everyone's cup of tea, but I recommend their trilogy; Losing My Mind, Losing My Life, and Drugs. Easily the best music from FIR, in my opinion, because Ronnie has this unique way of telling a story. Even from this revamped music video you guys reacted to, you know Ronnie's capability as a storyteller goes beyond all expectations. Hope you guys give them a chance! And I also HIGHLY recommend Popular Monster by FIR. Fucking insane!!!
Y’all are sleep. U should check out FIR videos. React to Popular Monster, Drugs, Losing my Life, Losing my Mind, etc etc. the list goes on boys. Welcome to the Ronnie show.
Even Ronnie doesn't like his old lyrics of a lot of his songs haha but he's matured a lot since then and wants to keep the same lyrics for the songs he reimagines
Great Reaction! Definitely should have checked out original version first, would of gave u more of a appreciation 'Revamped' song! Original was 10 yrs ago, just shows his growth as a singer... But quick ring down, Ronnie was in Escape the Fate 14-15 yrs ago, went to prison over probation violation, was caught w brass knuckles... did 2 1/2 yrs, kicked outta band whole in.. formed FIR while in... recorded first album shortly after getting out.. had fought drug addiction early on, but over came all that, and writes bout all the in his songs, writes all lyrics n music to all the songs...
I am a big fan of the earlier stuff that they did and the first two albums are brilliant. The drug in me is you is pretty much a revenge album if you listen to the lyrics of the album in full he wrote it whilst in and getting out of jail with some songs as a direct hit at Escape the fate. Have seen them several times in Aus and always play well live. I personally have found people either passionately love them or hate them with very little in between.
this song is a remake of Im Not A Vampire like 10 years ago, of course he kept the lyrics. if you watch it maybe you will understand. the important thing to notice is how beautiful this video is and what an amazing voice Ronnie has.
You definitely need to do popular monster, than the trilogy 1. Losing my mind 2. Losing my life 3. Drugs Than the original I’m not a vampire and the drug in me is you
You guys are funny! Do the original I'm Not a Vampire to gain more perspective about the lyrics of this one, then Popular Monster, then Losing My Life, Losing My Mind, Drugs, and you'll gain a lot of subscribers who turn on notifications, like, share, and comment. The Falling in Reverse rabbit hole is the best rabbit hole! Then do The Drug in me is You, The Drug in me is Reimagined, Raised by Wolves, Champion, and so many more!!
Yeah you need to do popular monster or theres a trilogy losing my mind, losing my life and drugs. You need to watch them in that order. And the songs are all drawn from his struggles with drugs, women and alcohol.
"Gotta give the people what they want." I caught that Never Back Down reference there ;-) And yes, the lyrics are weird because they are the same lyrics of I'm not a Vampire. Before he evolved. Go check out the original.
You should check out his the drug in me is you reimagined like this one its a reimagined song from ten years ago it really shows his growth as an artist if you watch the original then the reimagined one is a masterpiece subbed 😁
Ronnie Radke is actually a really good person. He just made bad decisions and he learned from it. You would like popular monster and the trilogy. The lyrics are cringy but like others have said they’re from a while ago so it makes sense
You should check out the original 😁 Great reaction though. Please react to the trilogy of losing my mind, losing my life and drugs and popular monster.
ronnie is a great guy yes he made a lot of mistakes but she shouldn't be judged for that. yes he went to prison he wasn't to blame he did make a bad decision which he paid for.
I am so confused. I mean I'm not, cause I read the comments and I feel actually quite bad for my lack of emphasis. Of course not for what he struggled with but I couldn't feel the truly desperation he must have gone through cause the song and clip are too dramatic to me. I feel like when you watch a movie that could be epic but the cheap cinematic effects ruin it: I thought it was a parody of something at the beginning. Anyway, great work guys!
“Some of the lyrics in this are a bit questionable” well considering it’s just a different version of their 2011 original how could you not expect that 🤦♂️ have you not listened to the original?
wow i just love the insults you are throwing around about Ronnie. yeah he was in prison for violating his probation. yeah he used drugs and was an ass someties. but almost 1oo percent of what you have heard is false. you didnt listen to his music cuz of rumours? boy have you been missing out. and today he is the most sweetest and loving man and also very smart. he is rising fellows and he is never coming down. he is king of the music scene.
ahah, well hm, really? where is emotions?guys dont you shy!! really!! where is it oh My God! It seems to like a dry, mah, reaction!! Seriously!! Oh my God/Really epic, zero reactions!! it looks like- hello, hi hwru? -I'm fine, &you? -i fine too bro -okay,do u like rock? yes i do and you? me too/ good good okay bye bye Hah guys u really weird look like. maybe probllem is because it is not sing song Girls or kpop girls? really?
you guys obviously arent listening to the lyrics and what they mean or even being able to follow the video it all leads to the same conclusion if your able to watch and listen correctly it is a deep song man just listen again and try to understand his artistry dont pick out the lyrics you want to and just figure it out man
I hate you guys you obviously don't understand this song. Ronnie Radke he used heroin and he went to Rehab This song is about being addicted to heroin.
The lyrical date phenomenal. What do you mean you didn’t like them? It’s the most deal and heartfelt thing I’ve ever heard. Your uneducated opinion on this band is belittling. You’d understand if you were Informed
Low key don’t care when we clearly say we only did this because viewers kept suggesting AND we get to from an opinion on the song based simply on the song...
Watch the original. It’ll explain why he chose certain words and lyrics. It’s all talking about addiction and how it made him feel like a monster/vampire because of withdrawals. It is honestly so well written
Fair reaction I think. I’ve watched almost every reaction video to this song because it honestly gives me goosebumps, the song is fantastic to me. You guys aren’t that into Falling and it shows but that’s cool. I like the honesty, I like that you still enjoyed it. I would recommend giving the original a listen though, I think it makes it full circle and gives a better understanding to this version.
