That's correct, it's a representation of his past drug addiction. The whole trilogy is about his addiction, being locked up and the struggle getting from there to where he is now.

I agree that Pisces by 'Jinjer' would be a fun one to see you guys react to. Also, check out 'Unsainted' by Slipknot, 'Nightmare' by Avenged Sevefold, and 'Awakening' by Unleash the Archers. Those should give you an idea of some of the different types of metal.
