I feel like at the end he is saying he had to kill his addiction that was causing him misery if he wants to move forward in life that's why his addiction was on fire.
One of my favorite things is how the change in production and tone changes the meaning of the song. In the original that line "I can't believe I'm actually meant to be here" basically sounds like "I can't believe I've fucked myself up so bad this is where I'm meant to be." In the Reimagining, instead it sounds more like "I can't believe I'm meant to keep living on, through the struggle and the depression, I'm meant to represent hope to people who are having a hard time finding it. This, right here, is my purpose." Absolutely beautiful rendition.
Ok, the grand piano and the cellos, the insane belting and the flawless falsetto, but the one thing that really gives me goosebumps is the desperation in his voice, the feelings that he allows to come through through his singing... get ready for the new single, it's about to premiere any day now.
@@JeffTiberend I think it's because Sean Rooney, the orchestral composer, plays the piano part on the track itself. Ronnie does play piano and is playing it for real in the videos but it is Sean you're hearing. I think some people hear that Sean is playing the piano and assume it's because Ronnie can't so you may have heard that.
I have never heard of him, until this... and oh my goodness, he's excellent 👏 I did look him up, bit we all have a past and looks like he's grown up and going the right way now. And great for him!
From escape the fate huge Drug addict went to prison came out stayed sober since and became one of the greatest rock bands of all time inspiring❤ @@Zalentsia
I've been waiting for this one to drop for awhile now. I knew you'd get to it sooner or later. When he drops the screaming at the end...you can absolutely hear the pain and anguish in voice. It gets me every time.
I was watching some of his old twitch streams and at one point, if I recall correctly, he said something along the lines of he does like 95% of the music work himself which is why, despite the various changes with people coming and going within the band, the music quality is still as good as when he started out.
I really hope you have checked out the live version of Watch the World Burn by Caliber TV!!! It's better than the video for WTWB, IMO. Great reaction ❤
The truly amazing part is how different this version is from the already amazing original by FIR. Love them both, but this one is so beautiful and really showcases his talent where the other is a band bop. ❤
I recommend his song "Alone"......i think you would like it.....one of my favs.......and if you ever do his song "Brother", have a tissue ready, just in case.
Thank you BP!! Love your reactions to Falling In Reverse!! 😊 You should check out his version of Gangstas Paradise. It's worth a watch!! He is so creative! Cant wait for your next FIR reaction 😊😁
Sure hope you listened to original version first. If not......kinda takes away from really understanding what he did. Doesn't sound like you did on this or I'm not a vampire. Takes away from entire experience.
Ronnie's epicness is operatic yet rocks and when the classical crosses with the rock and even rap Ronnie is the liquid that makes it sound so fluid beautiful and hard even.
2nd chorus. Your reaction to “meant to be here”. Priceless mate.🙌 I just shake my head too at how incredible that moment is. Gets me every time. Chills.
Dude! If you are getting Phantom of the Opera vibes from this the I'm Not a Vampire ReVamped is gonna cause your brain to explode! Ronnie is incredible at everything he does. You should react to the original versions of this and Vampire though. So you see what it was compared to what it is now.
9:42 All your viewers quickly turn the volume down to about 10% and we wait....... and Yes this did hit during the lockdown, Im sure you know by now that this is a "reimagined" version of a song of his that was released back in 2011. you can really see the growth of Ronnie if you watch that older version. That 2011 Ronnie would never have been able to make this version at that time.
This is definitely Ronnie's most personal song, and it's so moving that he took his once upbeat, rock themed, emo song about his drug addictions and PTSD and turned it into a somber, sad, hopeless, orchestrated musical number to truly emphasize his lost, damaged state of mind. I LOVE it. This is such an emotional piece, and it hits much harder to know Ronnie wrote this song while he was in prison. This whole song is about his struggles, and we REALLY feel that! The raw energy and emotion is astounding!
You've been hot on a lot of things lately, but I see a country rap reaction coming. Maybe some love for Colt Ford "Working On", or Upchurch " Peoples Champ" if you haven't done them yet.
Unrelated style, but look into Bad Brains (I Against I, Banned in DC, or Pay to Cum) Their lineage goes through Beastie Boys, to Nirvana, to Living Color, and many many more. In fact the story goes the Beasties chose their name to match up with BB. Hard core punk rock is a fun rabbit hole. And if ur looking for more go back further for Detroit’s Death.
I looked into who this guy was and all I can say is it looks like he has grown up a lot. The super privileged 🙄 😒 kids and the super deprived end up suffering the same metal illnesses and disorders. Why? Because a gilded cage is just a sparkling prison, if daddy says the cleaners kid WILL be their child's friend etc etc etc. It all boils down to control with the uber rich and lack of control in the underprivileged 😢 I wish I knew the answers but I do know I went from drug dealing bike gang in the 80s, to a single mum... very tabboo 🤣 I was the wicked witch of grampian, and I think when I said, "Thank you", walking off smiling. It pissed them off more than me 🤣 🤣 It shows people can grow and change, not in all cases and I hope this lad manages to stay on the path he's found. This is just awesome, especially worth all the hate and anger I saw while he was growing up. ❤
Have you reacted to Last Resort by Falling In Reverse? It is a remake(reimagined) version of papa roaches “Last Resort” from back in the day. It goes hard on a different take on the lyrics.
If you love lyricism check out Marilyn Manson he is on college lecture level lyrics and metaphores especially "coma white" and " killing strangers" so deep
You MUST react to the original - The Drug in me is you. This is a reimagined version of the same song, but it will blow your mind to see the two different versions.
maybe there is a chance that you will react to bad omens? they are a really good metalcore band and their last album is very smooth and chill. the death of peace of mind is such a banger!
Can't wait. I live 90 miles from Sacramento I'd love to grab a Diet Pepsi with you someday. I am launching a new social media platform and it's definitely beneficial for reactors in artists. I've been developing it for 2 years and it's launching in about 2 weeks
My wife is tired of hearing FiR as well as Tom MacDonald. Great shirt BYW. I have one myself. Today’s shirt is the “I don’t care if I offend you- Hang Over Gang. 😈
In response to your question about who is responsible for which parts of the music, I saw a video where Ronnie stated he writes about 90% of allllll of the music, instrumentation, production etc. I know he also works with top talent so I don’t know how true that is anymore but allegedly he’s kind of the maestro.
